SOMALI MUSLIM IMMIGRANTS turning American small towns into Islamic welfare enclaves

Newly arrived Somali immigrants flock to small towns and cities such as Lewiston, Maine; Shelbyville, Tennessee, St. Cloud, Minnesota, Clarkston, Georgia, and Jamestown, North Dakota, where they head straight for the local welfare office.

The Jamestown Sun reports that 400 Somalis have applied for public housing in the past four months. The Somali immigrants in Garden City, Kansas and nearby small towns have created the Somali Community Center of Southwest Kansas in order to tap into public welfare programs. Within this section of the heartland, white Christians have become the minority.

In East San Diego, the newly arrived Somalis have created a Little Mogadishu. The streets are lined with Somali stores, shops, and mosques. In the midst of this ethnic enclave stands the Iftin Charter School, where K-8 students are introduced to Arabic. 99% of the student population is Somali; Arabs constitute the remaining 1%.

The American Somalis now display the highest unemployment and poverty rates in the country. They also remain the least educated. According to Andrew Liepman, the deputy director of intelligence at the National Counterterrorism Center, Somali-Americans face “greater insularity compared to other, more integrated Muslim immigrant communities, [which] has aggravated the challenge of assimilation for their children.”

This problem is crystallized by the present situation is Lewiston, Maine, where African Muslims, many from the Bantu tribe, began arriving in 2001 at the rate of 100 a month.

Mohammed Maye, the president of the African Community and Refugee Center in Clarkston, Georgia posted a map of Lewiston on the wall of his office. “Go to Maine,” he advised the Somali immigrants. Abdullahi Abdullahi, the president of the Somali Community Development Organization in Clarkston, upheld this advice by telling his fellow countrymen that, unlike Georgia, Maine has terribly cold winters, but “the welfare system is better.”

Lewiston, indeed, was better. The small town in Maine with a population of 30,000 provided welfare to anyone in need, with the state picking up half the tab. Recipients, including the Muslim refugees, were allowed a generous five years of assistance before their benefits became terminated, and extensions for several additional years on the public dole were not difficult to obtain. Single parents could stay on welfare and go to college.

Public housing was also available, although, with the influx of Somalis, the housing projects became packed to capacity. Many of the new project dwellers were single Somali mothers with large broods of children. Those who are unable to obtain public housing were handed Section 8 vouchers, which the federal government provided to subsidize their rent in private apartments.The northern city with its frigid climate became welfare heaven for the arrivals from the vast desert areas of northern Africa.

The newcomers have shown scant interest in securing employment. When Renee Bernier, the president of the Lewiston city council, offered to hire 30 Somalis at the rate of $8 to $10 an hour to hold warning signs at construction sites, few displayed interest. The handful, who did apply, said that they were only willing to work between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The Somali population of Lewiston now exceeds 40,000.  H/T MICHAEL

Mexican Jihad

As the United States considers the Islamic jihadi threats confronting it from all sides, it might do well to focus on its southern neighbor, Mexico, which has been targeted by Islamists and jihadists, who, through a number of tactics — from engaging in da’wa, converting Mexicans to Islam, to smuggling and the drug cartel, to simple extortion, kidnappings and enslavement — have been subverting Mexico in order to empower Islam and sabotage the US.According to a 2010 report, “Close to home: Hezbollah terrorists are plotting right on the US border,” which appeared in the NY Daily News:

Mexican authorities have rolled up a Hezbollah network being built in Tijuana, right across the border from Texas and closer to American homes than the terrorist hideouts in the Bekaa Valley are to Israel. Its goal, according to a Kuwaiti newspaper that reported on the investigation: to strike targets in Israel and the West. Over the years, Hezbollah — rich with Iranian oil money and narcocash — has generated revenue by cozying up with Mexican cartels to smuggle drugs and people into the US In this, it has shadowed the terrorist-sponsoring regime in Tehran, which has been forging close ties with Hugo Chavez of Venezuela, who in turn supports the narcoterrorist organization FARC, which wreaks all kinds of havoc throughout the region.

Another 2010 article appearing in the Washington Times asserts that, “with fresh evidence of Hezbollah activity just south of the border [in Mexico], and numerous reports of Muslims from various countries posing as Mexicans and crossing into the United States from Mexico, our porous southern border is a national security nightmare waiting to happen.” This is in keeping with a recent study done by Georgetown University, which revealed that the number of immigrants from Lebanon and Syria living in Mexico exceeds 200,000. Syria, along with Iran, is one of Hezbollah’s strongest financial and political supporters, and Lebanon is the immigrants’ country of origin.

A jihadist cell in Mexico was recently found to have a weapons cache of 100 M-16 assault rifles, 100 AR-15 rifles, 2,500 hand grenades, C4 explosives and antitank munitions. The weapons, it turned out, had been smuggled by Muslims from Iraq. According to this report, “obvious concerns have arisen concerning Hezbollah’s presence in Mexico and possible ties to Mexican drug trafficking organizations (DTO’s) operating along the US — Mexico border.”

As far back as 2005, an article entitled “Islam is gaining a Foothold in Chiapas” showcased the inroads of Islam in Mexico:

Long a bastion of Catholicism, southern Mexico is quickly turning into a battleground for soul-savers. Islam, too, is gaining a foothold and the indigenous Mayans are converting by the hundreds. The Mexican government is worried about a culture clash in their own backyard… Muslim women in headscarves have become a common sight…

“Life is cheap” in impoverished Mexico. You want a job? Fine, pray five times a day, etc…

Kidnappings, as part of a drug cartel or as part of a jihadist operation, which legitimizes crimes such as kidnapping and child slavery, have become increasingly common. To convert non-Muslims to their cause, Islamists also whip up — and then exploit — a sense of “grievance” against the “white man.”

In addition, according to counterterrorism experts in this report, Islamic terrorists blend in better with Mexicans than with Europeans, thereby enabling them to sneak into the US across the southwest border. This Muslim cleric, for example, discusses how easy it is to smuggle a briefcase containing anthrax from Mexico into America, thereby killing at least some 330,000 Americans in a single hour.

Similarly, Michael Braun, formerly assistant administrator and chief of operations at the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), said that the Iran-backed Lebanese group has long been involved in narcotics and human trafficking in South America; however, it is relying on Mexican narcotics syndicates that control access to transit routes into the US Hezbollah relies on “the same criminal weapons smugglers, document traffickers and transportation experts as the drug cartels.”

Only a few months ago, Washington announced that FBI and DEA agents disrupted a plot to commit a “significant terrorist act in the United States,” tied to Iran with roots in Mexico. The increased violence — including beheadings, Islam’s signature trademark — is even more indicative that Islamists are well ensconced in Mexico’s drug cartel.

The threat is not limited to Hezbollah; back in 2006, according to an ISN, “Mexican authorities investigated the activities of the Murabitun [a da'wa, or missionary-outreach, organization named after historic jihadists along Spain's borders] due to reports of alleged immigration and visa abuses involving the group’s European members and possible radicals, including al-Qaeda.”

Even innocuous reports, such as this Muslim article, are cause for concern: “Today, most Mexican Islamic organizations focus on grassroots da’wa. These small organizations are most effective at the community level, going from village to village and speaking directly to the people.” Although this may not sound problematic, the strain of Islam being spread by many of these da’wa organizations is the radical, “Salafist,” anti-American variety. Here, for instance, is a popular Egyptian TV cleric saying that while Muslims must never smile to non-Muslims — who, as “infidels,” are by nature the enemy — they are free to do so if the Muslim is engaged in da’wa, trying to win over the infidel into the fold of Islam, especially if the potential convert can help empower Islam in any way.

These are but a few of the many reports on Islam in Mexico. The evidence that many Islamists in Mexico are plotting against the US, using all means — such as drug trafficking, which is not forbidden in Sharia law if it serves to empower Islam — is overwhelming.

Under various methods — from the violent to the subversive to the exploitative — Islam allows Muslims to lie and commit other duplicitous acts in the furtherance of Islam. Taqiyya [dissimulation] permits Hezbollah and other Islamists To engage in Mexico’s drug cartel, just as “pious” members of the Taliban in Afghanistan pursued the heroin trade. Aside from sheer violence, justified as “jihad,” or holy war, tactics pursued by Mexico’s Islamists include:

▪ Kidnappings and enslavement, for which Mexico is already notorious. Sharia permits kidnapping, and even enslaving the infidel, in this situation, any non-Muslim in Mexico. The Quran not only approves of this, but allows male jihadists to have sex with female captives of war (Sura 4, verse 3). Here, for example, is a Muslim politician trying to legalize the institution of “sex-slavery.”

▪ Extortion and blackmail, features of the Mexican landscape, are also permissible in Islam. According to Sharia, during jihad, Muslims are permitted to hold for ransom infidels to be sold back for large amounts of money. Here, for instance, is a popular Egyptian sheikh saying that the Islamic world’s problem is that it has stopped plundering and enslaving its infidel neighbors. He even boasts that under true Sharia, he could go to the local market and “buy” a female “sex-slave.”

In using subversive elements for da’wa, Muslims might comfortably use false arguments to turn Mexicans against their northern neighbors. They might, for instance, argue that Islam is a religion of “racial equality,” whereas Christianity is the “white man’s” religion, imposed on their ancestors by racist whites who sought to keep them “impoverished” beyond the border. Islamist strategies in Mexico amount to trying to win the unbelievers over to their side, whether through conversion or just cooperation. For those who refuse to cooperate, they are infidels to be used in any way that seems fit.

CAIRO: A number of Egyptian human rights groups have submitted a communication to the Attorney General Abdel Meguid Mahmoud against the Muslim Brotherhood`s political arm, the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) to investigate the complaints of people in the village of Abu Aziz in the Minya governorate, south of Cairo, over the existence of a large medical convoy organized by the party that wanders streets and does medical examination on people, including female circumcision, or female genital mutilation, in violation of Egyptian law, conventions and treaties signed by Egypt.

In Egypt’s legal code, Female Genital Mutilation is criminalized, as well as the inciting by doctors to convince families of the young girls of the need to agree to circumcise their daughters, “as a matter of preserving chastity.”

The communication demanded Mervat Tallawy, the head of the National Council for Women (NCW) and Major General Seraj EL Din El Rouby, the Governor of Minya, and Nasr El Sayed , Assistant Minister for primary health care, and preventive medicine, and family planning, to intervene to stop what it called “a farce propaganda for free circumcision, which was organized by one of the political parties, in Minya governorate to promote circumcision.”

The communication came after reports were circulated on news websites and social networking websites, including Facebook and Twitter about a convoy organized by the FJP to promote circumcision among girls in Minya.

While the world seems to be cooling, the appallingly dishonest Club of Rome is still shamelessly pushing “Global Warming” lies.

From Moscow propaganda channel Russia Today:

Rising carbon dioxide levels will most likely cause the global average temperature to rise two degrees by 2052, the Club of Rome think tank has said in a report.

Failure to come up with a coordinated solution to address the issue of global warming will lead to a dangerous warming of the Earth’s climate, the report published by Norwegian academic Jorgen Randers says. The paper, titled “2052: A Global Forecast for the Next Forty Years” even raises the possibility that humankind might not survive if it continues on its path of over-consumption and short-termism.

With the world population predicted to reach a peak level of 8.1 billion by 2042, global consumption and demand will only be growing, causing even more greenhouse gas emissions and deforestation.

Most of the population surge is set to take place in developing nations. In fact, Randers predicts that the economies of developing countries such as China, India, Brazil and South Africa will continue to grow, while those of the United States and Europe, on the other hand, will likely stagnate.

“This growth will improve living standards for many, but it will come at a cost for the global climate,” Randers noted, as quoted by Reuters.

And here is the real reason behind this propaganda

One of the main conclusions of the report was that governments would be unsuccessful in their attempts to mitigate or prevent global warming.

“We need a system of governance that takes a more long-term view,” Randers said “It is unlikely that governments will pass necessary regulation to force the markets to allocate more money into climate friendly solutions, and must not assume that markets will work for the benefit of humankind.”

So what is clearly needed, according to comrade Randers, is some sort of super authority that can tell governments what to do. Some sort of authority to regulate and control world markets.

World government anyone?

Behind the mystery of Barack Obama

On March 29, 2007, CPUSA writer Gerald Horne gave a speech, “Rethinking the History and Future of the Communist Party,” upon the acceptance of the Communist Party USA archives at the Tamiment Library at New York University. He wrote about black CPUSA member Frank Marshall Davis going to Hawaii in 1948 “at the suggestion of his good friend Paul Robeson” and becoming friends with a “Euro-American family” that included a child “who goes by the name of Barack Obama…” Notice the use of the phrase “who goes by the name of Barack Obama.” Why not just “Barack Obama” or “the name of Barack Obama?” Why use the phrase “who goes by the name of?” Was Barack Obama his real name?

Robeson was a secret CPUSA member and supporter of mass murderer Joseph Stalin. Davis was a CPUSA member under survillance by the FBI. Horne said, “In his best-selling memoir ‘Dreams of my Father’, the author [Barack Obama] speaks warmly of an older black poet, he identifies simply as ‘Frank,’ as being a decisive influence in helping him to find his present identity as an African-American, a people who have been the least anticommunist and the most left-leaning of any constituency in this nation — though you would never know it from reading so-called left journals of opinion.” That “Frank” was Frank Marshall Davis.Obama didn’t want people to know who “Frank” really was. We confirmed his identity and released his 560-page FBI file. Gerald Horne went on, “At some point in the future, a teacher will add to her syllabus Barack’s memoir and instruct her students to read it alongside Frank Marshall Davis’ equally affecting memoir, ‘Living the Blues’…” That is significant. Remember this was delivered in 2007, before anybody could reasonably anticipate that Obama would become the Democratic presidential candidate in 2008. What did Gerald Horne know that other people did not? Why was his speech about the history and “future” of the CPUSA? Was he saying something about Obama that only he and other CPUSA insiders knew? Did Horne know something special about Obama’s relationship with Davis? Indeed, had information about Obama been provided by Davis to other CPUSA members? For whatever reason — and perhaps Horne thought he was only taking to other members of the CPUSA — he blew the whistle on Barack Obama. But the future of Obama is in our hands. Horne also knew something that Hillary Clinton — Obama’s opponent in the 2008 Democratic primaries — did not. That is that the blacks –  “the least anticommunist and the most left-leaning of any constituency in this nation” — would back Obama and help carry him to victory. Of course, it took a carefully planned financial collapse in September 2008 to help this along.

Why did Horne think Obama would go down in history? It is because, as he implied, the CPUSA had been working in the black community for decades, laying the groundwork for Obama’s candidacy. The CPUSA did this by targeting black intellectuals, entertainers, and politicians, and using a journal known as Freedomways to manipulate and influence them. Freedomways was CPUSA-controlled and Soviet-funded. We have just released a major new report that explains all of this. It begins: “Newly declassified documents from Operation SOLO, an FBI program to infiltrate the Communist Party of the United States, reveal that a journal called Freedomways, which was influential in the black community for decades, was subsidized by the Soviet and Chinese Communist Parties.” Read the entire report at www.usasurvival.org It is titled Soviets Funded Black “Freedom” Journal.Here are some of our findings: During the 25 years it served as a propaganda organ for the CPUSA and Soviet front organizations such as the World Peace Council, Freedomways published articles by such figures as:

  • Martin Luther King, Jr., the slain civil rights leader who turned against the Vietnam War and has been honored with a national memorial in Washington, D.C.;
  • John Lewis, a Democratic member of Congress from Georgia and critic of the conservative Tea Party movement; and
  • Jesse Jackson, a former aide to King and Democratic candidate for president who has recently been stirring up racial resentment over the killing of black teenager Trayvon Martin.

Freedomways grew out of a Soviet campaign, launched after the Russian revolution, to exploit the “Negro question” in the U.S. and manipulate blacks and members of other minority groups for Communist purposes. The goal was a “Soviet America.” We have a lot more to report, based on the revelations in these FBI documents, and other information we have developed. We are on the trail of Obama. The truth is coming out.  We  are already coming inder attack by the left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center for daring to speak the truth — and raising the tough questions — about Obama and his mentor, Frank Marshall Davis. New Obama Campaign Slogan “Forward” Has Deep Ties To Marxism And Socialism…

Coincidence? I think not.

(The Washington Times) — The Obama campaign apparently didn’t look backwards into history when selecting its new campaign slogan, “Forward” — a word with a long and rich association with European Marxism.

Many Communist and radical publications and entities throughout the 19th and 20th centuries had the name “Forward!” or its foreign cognates. Wikipedia has an entire section called “Forward (generic name of socialist publications).”

“The name Forward carries a special meaning in socialist political terminology. It has been frequently used as a name for socialist, communist and other left-wing newspapers and publications,” the online encyclopedia explains.

The slogan “Forward!” reflected the conviction of European Marxists and radicals that their movements reflected the march of history, which would move forward past capitalism and into socialism and communism.

The Obama campaign released its new campaign slogan Monday in a 7-minute video. The title card has simply the word “Forward” with the “O” having the familiar Obama logo from 2008. It will be played at rallies this weekend that mark the Obama re-election campaign’s official beginning.

There have been at least two radical-left publications named “Vorwaerts” (the German word for “Forward”). One was the daily newspaper of the Social Democratic Party of Germany whose writers included Friedrich Engels and Leon Trotsky. It still publishes as the organ of Germany’s SDP, though that party has changed considerably since World War II. Another was the 1844 biweekly reader of the Communist League. Karl Marx, Engels and Mikhail Bakunin are among the names associated with that publication.

East Germany named its Army soccer club ASK Vorwaerts Berlin (later FC Vorwaerts Frankfort).

Vladimir Lenin founded the publication “Vpered” (the Russian word for “forward”) in 1905. Soviet propaganda film-maker Dziga Vertov made a documentary whose title is sometimes translated as “Forward, Soviet” (though also and more literally as “Stride, Soviet”).

Conservative critics of the Obama administration have noted numerous ties to radicalism and socialists throughout Mr. Obama’s history, from his first political campaign being launched from the living room of two former Weather Underground members, to appointing as green jobs czar Van Jones, a self-described communist.

Ultimate breakdown of America: pretending another country’s culture stands superior to our own.

I question stickers that say, “Celebrate multiculturalism” and “I love diversity” as the new fad in America. Middle Eastern culture does not equate with American culture. India’s culture runs counter to American culture. Somalia’s culture clashes with our culture.

Within the next 38 years, we expect to add 100 million immigrants from various cultures around the world. We, as a nation, stand on the precipice of our own cultural disintegration. Our culture stands in the crosshairs of clashing civilizations via importation of millions of immigrants from incompatible cultures.

In Denver, Colorado, last October, immigrants wanted Halloween celebrations taken out of the school systems. Peter Boyles, talk jock of KHOW 630 AM said, “Next they will demand Thanksgiving be taken away from us.”

Americans like Boyles do the job Congress refuses to do! Diversity proves a great divide that dissolves American culture.

Why do we allow multiculturalism to trump 236 years of successful U.S. culture?

Chicago Sun Times reporter Warner Todd Huston wrote, “At the end of September the school district in Oak Lawn, Illinois announced it was considering eliminating holiday celebrations like Christmas in its schools. Oak Lawn has seen increasing numbers of residents that identify with the Muslim faith who are naturally sending their children to the public schools there and school board members are afraid that Christian holidays are “offensive” to Muslim students.”

What drives the school culture? American history and American values!

Columbus Manor Principal Sandy Robertson said, “It’s difficult when you change the school’s culture.”

Ask yourself if you resided in Mexico if you would allow a Middle Eastern immigrant to change your wedding customs. If you hailed from Nepal, would you allow immigrants to change your flag festival? Would the Chinese allow an immigrant to change their national holidays to fit their sensitivities? Should the French give up their language to placate immigrants? Would France remain French if all its citizens spoke Arabic? What if Americans immigrating to Saudi Arabia demanded they speak English and celebrate Christmas?

“Since we have become a culture that won’t back a homogeneous observance of being an American, how do we address this issue?” Huston wrote. “How do we serve local communities that are made up mostly of “immigrants” – here unlawfully?”

This travesty illustrates America losing its cultural identity to a massive influx of people from incompatible cultures that will not assimilate into America but inject their own culture against ours. They cannot comprehend that our national culture and history form the bedrock of our existence. Culture permeates our cells. Our schools must teach our children about our culture in our country.

Nothing about America remains more sacred than our culture. Without it, we become listless, lose our moorings and drift on an unidentifiable sea. To lose one’s identity is to lose one’s individual self. What happens next? Depression, apathy and futility—ultimately spiritual and physical suicide!

A country that loses its identity suffers the same kind of disintegration as a child who loses its family. As proven around the world today with examples in Great Britain, France, Holland, Palestine and Sweden—multiculturalism fails at every level of human interaction. It proves, ultimately, one of the greatest dangers to humanity.

If America loses Christmas, Halloween, Easter, 4th of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day, President’s day and Thanksgiving to multiculturalism, we lose the foundation of our spiritual grounding in an uncertain world. Huston wrote, “In fact, we should not be celebrating any other holidays but American holidays. American holidays reflect our national culture. The holidays and traditions of other cultures deserve to remain in their homes, not in the halls of our schools. By NOT indulging their desires to obviate American influences – replacing them with ideas antithetical to our American first principles – we would be doing a far better service to our children than to twist-and-squeeze every district to a different standard, to placate foreign nationals.”

This greatest of nations on the planet became successful BECAUSE of its culture. If we bend it, break it and turn it into multicultural mush soup, we, as a people will not stand together nor will we succeed into the future. Do we want Spanish to conflict with our language in our schools? Can we withstand the trauma of multiple languages? Can we bend over backwards for the Koran that has nothing to do with our history or culture? Do we want our children bent into the violence and intolerance of much of the world from which these immigrants fled? Can we survive as a cohesive civilization if we lose our culture? Do we not see their failed cultures will become our failed culture if we continue importing millions from failed countries?

Stephen Steinlight answered it best in his, “Amnesty and the Plot Against America”: “Everything we hold most sacred in our national life and civil society, in our public places and private spaces, from our splendidly rambunctious democratic culture to the experience of solitude in our sublime untouched natural environment is at stake in this battle—because the forces that reign against us are powerful, the fate of the nation unimaginable—if they prevail.”When will Americans start speaking out about open borders, American culture and demand English first? These facts must be publicly and factually disclosed to every American and their children. That disclosure must be based on facts, not the emotional rhetoric and deception of teachers, politicians and biased “politically correct” news media. The discussion of diversity must be made openly and recognizing the opinions and needs of Americans, not pro-multicultural vested interests that buy and pay for elected officials.
