NUGENT REVEALS DATE OF HIS SECRET SERVICE INTERVIEW IN EPIC GLENN BECK INTERVIEW: ‘WE’RE GOING TO HAVE A LITTLE BBQ’

Via: The Blaze

Rock star and gun enthusiast Ted Nugent appeared on Glenn Beck’s radio show this morning. The outspoken musician discussed the heat he’s been taking over controversial comments he made at the NRA convention this past weekend. Additionally, he talked about his impending meeting with the Secret Service as a result of his words and commented on the “sub-human punk” label he gave DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

“It’s a world gone berzerko,” Nugent said when summing up the days’ recent events.” If it wasn’t for the federal government my life would be perfect. Perfect. I’m not kidding…”

“Every reference I made, whether it’s a shot across the bow or targeting the enemy, it always ended the sentence with ‘in November at the voter booth,’” he said, claiming that he was never advocating violence.

Nugent also said that he’s galvanizing his family and friends — and everyone he knows and interacts with — to get to the polls in November. It is the American people, he maintained earlier in the interview, who are tasked with monitoring the “bad and ugly” that often unfolds in the political sphere.

“If they want to stop the criminal spending orgy in Washington, D.C. and beyond, we‘ve got to register to vote and we’ve got to go to the voting booth in November,” he proclaimed.

As for the Secret Service probe, Nugent said that he will be meeting with officials on Thursday.

“We actually have heard from the Secret Service and they have a duty. I support them. I salute them. And I look forward to our meeting tomorrow,” he said. “I‘m sure we’ll have a great conversation…bottom line is, I‘ve never threatened anybody’s life in my life. I’ve never threatened. I don’t waste breath threatening.”

He continued, going on to reiterate his respect for the law enforcement officials.

“We’re going to have a little barbecue get together,” he said. “And I’m not trying to diminish the seriousness of this, because if the Secret Service are doing it they are serious. They are dedicated and I will be as polite and supportive as I possibly can be, which will be thoroughly.”

Nugent expects their conclusion to be that he threatened no one.

As for Shultz, he called her, among other Democratic leaders, as “lunatic fringe.”

The rocker also shared a disturbing story about fallen Navy Seal Chris Campbell, who perished in Afghanistan in 2011. Campbell, who had purportedly stated in his will that he wanted Nugent to perform at his funeral if he died in combat, didn’t have his final wish granted.

While the musician was planning to honor the fallen hero’s request, Nugent claims he was banned from the funeral.

“My office got a call from someone high up in the military letting me know that somebody very high up did not want me to be in the same area on that day,” he explained. “So I was uninvited in defiance of a dead Navy Seal’s request. I just don’t know what country this is.”

DNC Chief Wasserman Schultz: Hilary Rosen Has Never Worked For DNC During My Tenure — Reality: DNC Paid Rosen $120K Since 2011 As a “Media Consultant”…

Busted.

Hilary Rosen does not now nor has she ever worked during my tenure for the Democratic National Committee and does not work for the campaign, does not have a contract with either the campaign or the committee. And as David Axelrod pointed out, she has a contract with CNN as a contributor and they actually released a statement yesterday saying they prohibit their contributors from having formal relationships, contractual relationships with campaigns.

Via Beltway Confidential:

Controversial Democratic strategist and CNN contributor, Hilary Rosen, was hired by DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz to coach her on media appearances. [...]

But Republicans at the Republican National Committee, have already pulled data on payments made by the DNC to Rosen.

“DNC has paid $120,000 to Rosen’s firm since 2011 for both a “communications consultant” and “media consultant,” tweeted Joe Pounder, the director at the RNC, “Sounds like Dunn and Rosen.”

DNC Chief Wasserman Schultz Will Be Keynote Speaker At Mustlim Group With Islamist Ties Fundraiser…

Via: Weaselzippers. I wonder is she knows or even cares how they feel about Joooos?

(Sunshine State News) — Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz will be the keynote speaker at the annual fundraising banquet of a Muslim group with some controversial connections.

EMERGE USA — which is aligned with the Florida-based Center for Voter Advocacy — is headed by Khurrum Wahid, a South Florida attorney. According to the Florida Bar, Wahid “has defended individuals charged with allegedly committing or conspiring to commit acts of terrorism.”

According to the organization’s mission statement, “EMERGE [Empowering Motivating Educating Resourceful Grassroots Entities] aims to politically empower and train its constituents to be effective community organizers and work in coalitions to advance beneficial policies and legislation that help protect and enforce the rights afforded by the United States Constitution.”

Critics of EMERGE say a Wahid-led banquet is an odd venue for Wasserman Schultz, a Jewish congresswoman from Fort Lauderdale, to be breaking Halal bread with on April 21.

Among other connections, Wahid has spoken at an event sponsored by the American arm of the South Asian Muslim Brotherhood (Jamaat-e-Islami) and the Islamic Circle of North America, an organization that has been connected to the financing of both al-Qaida and Hamas.

“Wasserman Schultz likes to flaunt her Jewish identity and false pro-Israel persona, but how can she begin to do so when the organization she will be addressing maintains staff who display animosity toward the Jewish state?” asks Joe Kaufman, a Republican candidate seeking to unseat the Democrat in the 23rd Congressional District.

Richard Rubin Sentenced to Ten Months in Federal Prison

Richard Rubin and Diana Wasserman-Rubin

Richard Rubin — husband of former Broward County Commissioner Diana Wasserman-Rubin, who still faces seven felony charges of her own — was sentenced this morning to ten months in federal prison.

Rubin, 66, pleaded guilty in April to federal tax evasion after failing to report $100,000 in fees he received from the town of Davie for a land deal he brokered in 2004.

With attorney David Bogenschutz at his side, Rubin managed to get only ten months up the river — which is in accordance with sentencing guidelines but much less than the maximum penalty of five years.

Rubin had said in court that he and the wife faced financial burdens from damage done to their home by Hurricane Wilma and also owed on a loan he could not repay — which is why he attempted to cheat on his taxes a bit.

That also wasn’t too long after Rubin took in $1.1 million for writing grants for the town of Southwest Ranches — grants that were approved in part by the votes of his wife while she was a county commissioner.

Then, the probable-cause affidavit released last year contended, the couple was living quite lavishly — including spending money on artwork, cruises, vacations to Europe, and a $150,000 home repair project.

Rubin wasn’t charged with tax evasion until April of this year.

The State Attorney’s Office, however, charged Wasserman-Rubin last year with seven counts of felony unlawful compensation related to her votes for her husband’s grant-writing.

More disingenuousness from DWS

Debbie Wasserman Schultz

According to Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, it was a loss for Mitt Romney when he won Iowa and it was a loss for Mitt Romney when he won New Hampshire. But it’s not just that she thinks winning is losing that’s batty; it’s that she thinks both Iowa and New Hampshire provide evidence that the Republican electorate is not excited to go to the polls in November 2012.

Tuesday night, DWS had this to say: “In addition to that, the Republican turnout was off about 40 percent from the turnout in 2008, showing that this is not a field that their side is very enthusiastic about.”

Au contraire, Ms. Wasserman Schultz. As it turns out, the turnout for the New Hampshire primary set a new record for the GOP. The New Hampshire Union-Leader reports:

Voter turnout Tuesday set a record for a Republican presidential primary but fell short of the Democrats’ turnout record set four years ago.

The Secretary of State’s office released county, city and town summaries showing that 247,223 votes were cast for candidates on the Republican ballot.

That’s a turnout of 45 percent of the 546,411 names of Republican and undeclared voters on the Jan. 4 checklist. …

Gardner said that 60,996 voted in the Democratic primary, far short of the 75,000 he had predicted. Of those, 49,480, or 81 percent voted for President Barack Obama. He noted that in 1996, when Bill Clinton was running for reelection uncontested, there were about 93,000 votes cast in the Democratic primary, which was 82 percent of the votes cast.

So maybe, once upon a time, Democrats in New Hampshire were more excited to vote than Republicans were this year — but it appears Republicans in New Hampshire have neverbeen so excited to vote.

Does the information that Republicans set a new record for GOP voter turnout in New Hampshire change DWS’ reaction to the primary? We’ll see. I’ve sent a media request to her press secretary and will let you know how she responds.

Disgrace: DNC Chief Wasserman Schultz Blames “Tea Party Movement” For Giffords Shooting…

She is a wretched human being. Wasserman Schultz is fully aware the shooter was deemed unfit for trial on account of his mental illness and yet, with no facts to back her up, she uses the one-year anniversary to blame the Tea Party. Read more: DC Examiner

Debbie Does Class Warfare: People Doing Well Should Not Be Doing “Better”…

It’s physically impossible for Wasserman Schultz to open her mouth without saying something stupid.

“There is nothing wrong with doing well. It’s a goal we all inspire to. And we want everybody in America to do well. But we shouldn’t have our tax policy exclusively focused on helping people already doing well do better. In America we should target our tax policy towards people who want to be lifted up.”
