ALLEN WEST: MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD & OTHER EXTREMIST GROUPS ARE INFLUENCING U.S. STRATEGY

Get more information about the live GBTV special “Rumors of War III,” airing Wednesday, April 25th at 7 p.m. ET.

Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) is never afraid to take a stand on the issues he holds dear, which is why the conservative politician is taking aim at the FBI for removing nearly 900 pages of allegedly-offensive training materials. According to West, this action, which was taken after Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) complained about some of the materials’ contents, is a form of “cultural suicide.”

Durbin, who wrote a letter to FBI director Robert Mueller about the situation, complained that the controversial documentation could lead Muslims and others to be targeted based on their religion. “There is a real risk that agents will be operating on false assumptions about Arab-Americans and American Muslims,” Durbin maintained.

Allen West: Muslim Brotherhood & Extremist Groups Are Influencing U.S. Strategy

West, though, said that the removal is evidence that extremist Muslim groups are holding sway over U.S. strategy. He discussed the issue of “tolerance” and its relation to the situation in an interview with Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” on Monday morning.

“We have to understand that when tolerance becomes a one-way street it leads to cultural suicide,” he said. “We should not allow the Muslim Brotherhood or associated groups to be influencing our national strategy.”

West’s main concern is that the U.S. seems to be watering down its definition of who America’s enemies are. In an attempt to decrease how intensely officials offend extremists, the politician claims that leaders are potentially endangering the nation.

“If we continue to be recalcitrant in identifying who the enemy is and want to be less offensive to them, then we’re going to put ourselves in a bad situation,” West proclaimed. “Now you have an environment of political correctness which precludes these agents from doing their proper job and due diligence to go after the perceived threat.”

Watch West speak further about this scenario, below:

The subject of radical influences on the U.S. government has been gaining prominence in recent years. On Wednesday, GBTV will air a live documentary event called, “Rumors of War III.” The program will tackle many of the same themes West addressed in his interview on Fox News this morning, as the film tackles extremist groups’ infiltration of the United States.

Following the documentary, Glenn Beck will sit down with guests from the movie who will weigh in on the threats posed by the Muslim Brotherhood, among other groups. GlennBeck.com has more:

The guests joining Glenn include Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin (Former Undersecretary of Defense Intelligence), Andrew McCarthy (Author of The Grand Jihad and former federal prosecutor), Diana West (Author of The Death of the Grown-Up and conservative columnist) and Buck Sexton (The Blaze National Security Editor).

FARRAKHAN PRAISES PAT BUCHANAN AS A ‘GREAT REPUBLICAN’ & WARNS WHITES: ‘UNLESS YOU CHANGE, YOUR END HAS COME’

Farrakhan Praises Pat Buchanan as a Great Man & Warns Whites: Unless You Change, Your End Has ComeVia: The Blaze

Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan continued his college speaking tour on Monday night at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

While his address included many of the racially-charged elements we’ve heard in other related lectures, the minister added in some new comments about whites, his personal experience with using marijuana and he even showered some praise upon conservative commentator Pat Buchanan.

(Related: Farrakhan Warns Young Leaders They Risk Being Killed if They Sell Out)

In addressing whites, Farrakhan issued his typically-offensive rhetoric.

“They know you, but you don’t know them or yourself, so you’re always at a disadvantage when you sit down with white people to negotiate,” he told his predominately black audience. “We don’t ever come in their presence like we are some little weak things.”

He continued, going on to address Caucasians directly.

“I know myself. I know you. And some of you white people – I know you better than you know yourself because God has revealed you fully,” he explained, going on to seemingly claim that he has a special, God-ordained ability to see what others cannot.

This, of course, was followed up with a cryptic warning to white Americans about their need to “change.”

“It ain’t about hating you. We ain’t got no time for that. But we know who we’re dealing with. We know what we’re dealing with,” he said. “We know your origin in the world and we know how long you were set to live and unless you change, your end has come.”

Farrakhan subsequently delved back into the omniscience that has purportedly been bestowed upon him.

“You can’t talk like this unless you know God. I don’t just talk about God or talk about Jesus … Jesus spoke like this. That’s why he was hated,” the minister said. “Why do you think people don’t like Farrakhan – what have I done?”

Farrakhan Praises Pat Buchanan as a Great Man & Warns Whites: Unless You Change, Your End Has Come

But such pious talk about Jesus was short-lived, as the minister began speaking about his use of marijuana at a young age.

“I’ve never been arrested. I did smoke reefers when I was young,” he told his audience. “When I smoked joints they were only 50 cents.”

While Farrakhan’s racial rhetoric and personal stories about marijuana use were certainly colorful, the most curious and awe-inspiring portion of his address came immediately following these sentiments when he praised Buchanan as “a great Republican.”

“But we have to say to Republicans, one great Republican — Patrick Buchanan wrote a book that they [Republicans] spent $40 trillion dollars on black people. I don‘t know whether it’s that much, but that’s what he said,” Farrakhan said. “Every time there’s a problem they throw money at it. And all the money they threw, the problem is yet not solved — cause it’s not money that will solve the problem alone.”

It’s noteworthy that Buchanan has drawn the ire of Abraham H. Foxman of the Anti-Defamation League, among others, for his purported anti-Semitism. In fact, on March 16, the ADL released an article condemning both Farrakhan and Buchanan.

OCCUPY MASTERMIND STEPHEN LERNER REVEALS NEXT STEPS: STUDENT LOAN STRIKES & CRASH SHAREHOLDER MTGS

Stephen Lerner (Photo: Rod Leon)

Via: The Blaze

Regular readers of this site will know the name Stephen Lerner. For those who don’t, here’s a quick refresher: he’s the SEIU organizer whoThe Blaze revealed almost a year to the day as the man behind the early stages of the Occupy movement. Back then, he admitted to wanting to bring down financial institutions and collapse the system. Now he’s back with an op-ed in the liberal magazine The Nation, and he‘s outlining what’s coming next.

“Occupy has cracked open the door that lets us imagine that another world is possible,” Lerner writes, before bragging about the countless arrests of those within the movement. “Thousands of arrests, months of protest and acts of incredible personal risk and sacrifice have put inequality and Wall Street’s out-of-control political and economic power on center stage. As activity ratchets up this spring, the challenge is to get more people pushing that door open ever wider.”

So what does “pushing that door open wider” look like? How about organizing massive student loan strikes and crashing annual shareholder meetings.

Student loan strikes

Lerner justifies the strike idea like this:

Students and their families now have nearly a trillion dollars of debt, with average debt totaling over $25,000. The explosion in student debt is a direct outgrowth of the defunding of education in state after state. Unlike corporate and other debt, student debt is excluded from bankruptcy relief, strangling students for life. Reducing student debt load and the interest rates applied to it would save hundreds of billions of dollars in debt payments. It’s a first step to creating equal access to education and giving students a fair start without a lifetime burden.

Then he plants the seed:

There is growing interest in Occupy and student groups in a student debt strike. The banks can’t foreclose on a brain or a degree. If a critical mass of student debtors—a million or more—pledged to refuse to pay, it would create a collection crisis that could force negotiations about reducing student debt.

Key phrase: “it would create a collection crisis.”

Crashing shareholder meetings

Student debt strikes are just the beginning, however. Lerner wants more, and that “more,” not surprisingly, involves greater collaboration with the unions.

“Starting with GE on April 25 in Detroit and moving on to Wells Fargo, Bank of America and dozens of other corporations in May and June, tens of thousands of people from Occupy, community organizations, unions and environmental groups will show up at the annual shareholder meetings of major corporations,” he explains. “Some people will be on the inside with proxies, and others will be massed in the streets, all delivering the message that it is no longer acceptable for giant, unaccountable corporations to decide the political and economic fate of the country.”

Key points: It’s starting April 25; it involves “tens of thousands” from unions and even environmental groups; and it will even involve people “on the inside.”

A movement in need of direction?

Lerner’s direction comes as the movement is awakening with fury — 73 were arrested at the movement‘s epicenter in New York City’s Zucotti Park over the weekend. And top-down direction seems to be what the willing Occupy foot soldiers are in need of. Consider that after the weekend fracas, the same problems of blurry vision and a lack of uniformity that plagued the movement in the fall sprang up once again.

“I’m really grateful to be part of a generation that wants change, ’cause we should all want change,” said Jennifer Campbell, a graduate student in documentary filmmaking at Hofstra University. “But I’m not sure what that change is, or if they know what that change is.”

“We’re going to keep going,” said Christopher Guerra, who has spent many nights at Zuccotti since the movement started last Sept. 17. He added, “It’s going to get interesting during the election cycle. We’re going to be more of a presence in the political world. I know we have a couple of people running for office.”

According to Mother Jones magazine, 10 candidates for House and Senate seats in the November elections have made Occupy part of their campaigns. They include Massachusetts Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren and Hakeem Jeffries, who is running for Congress in Brooklyn. But some Occupy supporters consider themselves anarchists who abjure electoral politics.

Sandra Nurse, a member of Occupy’s direct action working group, said she expects college students will have “a huge role to play this summer organizing around student debt.” She noted that the issue resonates both with students and with their parents and has the potential to broaden the movement. It‘s straight out of Lerner’s playbook.

But Ted Schulman, an Occupy protester who lives near Zuccotti, said his focus is the upcoming United Nation Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro. He said he wants to “challenge the U.N. on what their vision of a green economy is.”

Harlem resident Kanene Holder said the movement is broader than any one issue. “This is not a beauty pageant,” she said. “We cannot homogenize this movement into one streamlined vision.”

“I understand the Occupy movement,” observer Brian Cummings of Iowa said. “I understand a lot of people’s frustration. I’m not sure how effective it is. … Nothing seems to be being accomplished.”

And that’s where Lerner comes in. In his conclusion, he embraced the confusion: “Emerging movements are complicated, exciting, messy, confusing and wonderful things to be a part of.”

White House Official Says Obama Insisted Netanyahu Postpone Attack on Iran Until After November Elections…

Because what could possibly be more important than Obama winning reelection?

(Ynet) — Israel will only strike Iranian nuclear facilities in September or after the United States presidential elections in November, a White House official told the British Sunday Times newspaper after a meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Barack Obama last week.

According to the report, Obama has taken Israel’s warnings about a possible strike in Iran very seriously. The Washington source added that the president “might visit in the summer to reassure the Israelis that the US commitment to defend Israel is unshakable and thus thwart a possible autumn attack.”

Obama insisted that any attack on Iran should be postponed until after the US presidential elections in November, possibly even until next spring. The source revealed that Netanyahu consented to delaying a strike, but wished to know until when. “The question is how much time,” he reportedly said.

Palestinians Fire 100 Qassam And Grad Rockets At Southern Israel…

As always, the “peace-loving” Palestinians will get a free pass from the left.

(JPost) — Palestinian terrorists in Gaza targeted cities, towns, and farming regions in southern Israel with waves of rockets throughout Friday and Saturday, setting off air raid sirens and injuring eight people

One hundred rockets — Kassams and the longer-range Grads — were fired by midday Saturday at civilian regions. Of those, the Iron Dome anti-rocket system intercepted 25 projectiles heading directly into city centers in Ashdod, Beersheba and Ashkelon. Seventy-five rockets exploded in Israeli territory, most of them in open fields. The barrage came after the IAF foiled a major terror attack, killing the secretary general of the Popular Resistance Committees, Zuhair Qaisi.

Eight people were injured on Friday evening. In the Eshkol Regional Council, a 40-year-old man was seriously injured from rocket shrapnel, a second man was moderately injured by shrapnel in his stomach, and a third was lightly injured. Paramedics said the injured were foreign workers. An electric pole and a vehicle were also damaged in the same area.

The seriously injured man was airlifted to the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba, and remains in critical condition.

Two people were lightly injured in a car accident that occurred during an air raid siren at the Emunim Junction between Ashdod and Ashkelon on Friday evening.

Three other people in the South were lightly injured while fleeing for cover during sirens. One civilian was treated for shock. The injured were taken to the Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot and the Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon for treatment.

Police bomb squad units moved from one explosion site to another seeking to ensure that the fallen rockets did not pose a further threat to the public.

The rocket barrages tapered off at around 3 a.m., but resumed again on Saturday morning, when air raid sirens rang out in Beersheba and Ashdod.

VIDEO: MUSLIMS DESTROY CHRISTIAN AND JEWISH WAR GRAVES IN LIBYA, SHOUTING “ALLAHU AKBAR” (ALLAH IS GREATER)

Via: Atlas Shrugs

This is so beyond groteque – bloody monstrous and difficult to watch considering the ultimate sacrifice these heroes made. And the very enemy in which they are fighting is dancing, destroying their graves. Allahu FUBAR. And we are always being admonished and schooled in respect for Islam and the sharia.

Youtube actually banned this video for fear it would incite hatred against Muslims. Unbelievable.

Obama supported this movement. Obama sent billions to Libya.  Obama apologizes incessantly to these savages. Obama say “respect it!”

Christian war graves desecrated in Libya

By msnbc.com staff and news services, Mrch 5, 2012

Libya’s leadership has apologised after armed men smashed the graves of British soldiers killed during World War Two, in acts of vandalism that appeared to be directed against non-Muslims.

Amateur video footage of the attacks, posted on video sharing site YouTube and social networking site Facebook, showed men casually kicking over headstones in a war cemetery and using sledge hammers to smash a metal and stone cross.

One man can be heard saying: “This is a grave of a Christian” as he uprooted a stone headstone from the ground.

Another voice in the footage says of the people buried in the cemetery: “These are dogs.”

The attacks happened in the eastern city of Benghazi, near where British and Commonwealth troops fought heavy battles against German and Italian forces during the 1939-45 war.

The BBC reported that the attacks  took place at the British Military Cemetery and the War Graves Cemetery.

Britain’s Mail on Sunday newsapaper, which reported the attacks on its front page on Sunday, said many of the graves cemetery belong to members of Britain’s 7th Armoured Division, known as the Desert Rats, who played a crucial role in the battle for control of Libya and Egypt between 1941 and 1943.

It said the Commonwealth graves there included servicemen from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and India.

The National Transitional Council (NTC), Libya’s interim leadership since last year’s uprising forced out Muammar Gaddafi, said it would pursue those responsible.

It also apologised for the desecration of Italian graves, although it was not clear where Italian graves had been damaged.

“The NTC apologises for the incident with the foreign graves, especially the British and Italian graves,” the council said in a statement. “This action is not in keeping with Islam.”

“The NTC will confront this matter and, in line with Libyan law, will pursue those people who committed this act. This action does not reflect Libyan public opinion because Islam calls for respect for other religions.”

The NTC has close ties with Western countries after a NATO bombing campaign helped it to oust Gaddafi, and most ordinary Libyans feel no animosity towards the West.

However, a minority of hardline Islamists, who are opposed to any non-Muslim presence and in some cases have formed into heavily-armed militias, have gained ground since Gaddafi’s 42-year rule ended last August. The government in Tripoli has struggled to assert its authority over these groups.

Salafists, followers of an ultra-purist interpretation of Islam, have already destroyed several tombs to Muslim holy men in Libya, which they consider to be idolatrous.

The footage posted on Facebook showed about two dozen men in a cemetery in daylight. Several carried Kalashnikov automatic rifles and were wearing the mismatched camouflage uniforms commonly seen on militia members.

In an unhurried and systematic way, they kicked over neatly-arranged rows of headstones. “We will start with this and then carry on,” says one voice on the recording. At one point, the person filming the footage also took his boot to a headstone.

Another group had placed a ladder against the large stone and metal cross overlooking the cemetery, and was smashing it with hammers. Several onlookers milled around the cemetery but no one was seen on the footage trying to intervene.

At one point, a voice on the recording says: “Come and see the incription on this … There is Hebrew writing on it.”

House to Obama: Where did the additional $111 billion in ObamaCare costs come from?

Via: Hot Air

ObamaCare hasn’t even been implemented yet, and its subsidy costs have already risen 30% with no explanation.  In the latest budget from the White House, the estimated cost for assistance to middle-class families in the insurance exchanges between 2014 and 2021 was $478 billion — an increase from last year’s budget of $367 billion.  House Republicans want an explanation:

Cost estimates for a key part of President Obama’s health care overhaul law have ballooned by $111 billion from last year’s budget, and a senior Republican lawmaker on Friday demanded an explanation.

House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp, R-Mich., wants to know by Monday why the estimated ten-year cost of helping millions of middle-class Americans buy health insurance has jumped by about 30 percent. …

At issue are subsidies that will be provided under the health care law to help middle class people buy private coverage in new state insurance markets that will open for business in 2014.

Penn Judge Who Threw Out Case Against Muslim Man Who Attacked Atheist Mocking Mohammed Defends Decision, “Was Trying To Help Him Understand Islam”…

How about just enforcing the law and leave the Islam “education” up to CAIR?

You can read the original story here.

(CBN News) — Many are wondering whether a Pennsylvania judge went too far in dismissing a harassment charge against a Muslim who attacked a man for mocking Islam’s Prophet Mohammed.

Atheist Ernie Perce had dressed up as what he called “Zombie Mohammed” for a march at a Halloween parade in Mechanicsburg, Pa.

That’s when Perce charges a Muslim man named Talaag Elbayomy attacked him on the street.

“He grabbed me, choked me from the back and spun me around to try to get my sign off that was wrapped around my neck,” Perce recalled.

Police charged the Muslim with harassment. But when the case went to court, Cumberland County’s Judge Mark Martin not only threw it out, he slammed Perce for mocking Islam, calling him a “doofus.”

“Well, having had the benefit of having spent over two and half years in predominately Muslim countries, I think I know a little bit about the faith of Islam,” the judge said.

“So before you start mocking somebody else’s religion, you might want to find out a little bit more about it,” said Martin, who served three Middle East tours in the U.S. Armed Forces. “It kind of makes you look like a doofus.” [...]

Martin, however, stands by his ruling, saying there wasn’t enough evidence to find the defendant guilty. He told CBN News he believes one of his roles is to keep peace in the community.

“Just because you have First Amendment rights that allow you to say something doesn’t necessarily mean that you should always say that thing you want to say,” Martin said.

“What I was trying to do in as quick of a time as I could, (is) educate the victim to try help him understand a little bit about Islam,” he explained.

Police Sgt. Brian Curtis, the arresting officer in the case, was not happy with the judge’s ruling.

“I believe that I brought a case that showed proof beyond reasonable doubt, and the case was dismissed, and I was disappointed,” Curtis said.

Media Partners in Crime with WikiLeaks?

Via: Accuracy in Media

Gary Pruitt, President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of The McClatchy Company, insists the U.S. newspaper publisher “must maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct.” But how does this comport with being a “partner” of WikiLeaks, the controversial website that has just published stolen emails from the private company known as Stratfor?

WikiLeaks has listed McClatchy as one of its “public partners in the investigation” of Stratfor. Another American “partner” is Rolling Stone, the rock & roll magazine.

The hacker group Anonymous, which is under FBI investigation, has taken credit for the data theft. WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is himself a computer hacker—convicted of penetrating a U.S. military defense network in his native Australia—and maintains close ties to the Russian government. He recently announced a television deal with Russia Today (RT), the Moscow-funded propaganda channel. He previously received a Russian visa, in a show of support from the Kremlin, which says he should get a Nobel Peace Prize for his Internet campaign against American interests worldwide.

George Friedman, founder and CEO of Stratfor, which obtains information about and analyzes world events for private companies and U.S. Government agencies, says the theft and publication of the emails are “deplorable, unfortunate, and illegal” actions.

The McClatchy Company is described as the third-largest newspaper company in the United States. It publishes 30 daily newspapers and provides information for some 1,200 clients of the McClatchy-Tribune News Service. It also has a digital news operation.

James Asher, Washington, D.C. bureau chief for McClatchy Newspapers, says his company wasn’t involved in the theft and hasn’t decided what is newsworthy about the documents they have received. In his mind, being a “partner” only means the company received the information and does not make it morally or legally culpable in how it was acquired.

“I wouldn’t use the word ‘partner,’ but what are you going to do?” he said. “I believe in the First Amendment and if they want to call us partner, they can. That’s not what we do.”

Asher is in charge of 40 reporters and editors in Washington and around the globe.

Stratfor CEO Friedman has cautioned the media about using the material, saying, “Some of the emails may be forged or altered to include inaccuracies. Some may be authentic. We will not validate either, nor will we explain the thinking that went into them. Having had our property stolen, we will not be victimized twice by submitting to questions about them.”

WikiLeaks claims the Stratfor material “contains privileged information about the US government’s attacks against Julian Assange and WikiLeaks and Stratfor’s own attempts to subvert WikiLeaks. There are more than 4,000 emails mentioning WikiLeaks or Julian Assange.”

It is not surprising that Stratfor would cover the case, since Assange is reportedly under investigation by the U.S. Government and one of his alleged sources, Army Private First Class Bradley Manning, is on trial for stealing classified information and aiding the enemy. Manning faces life in prison if convicted of the largest release of classified information in U.S. history. Some of the documents concern counter-terrorism operations in the Middle East and the vulnerability of top-secret facilities to terrorist attack.

One of the alleged emails from Stratfor refers to a secret U.S. Government indictment of Assange. But there is no independent evidence that such an indictment has been handed down.

On the other hand, evidence produced during Bradley Manning’s preliminary hearing revealed that Manning was in direct contact with Assange, making the founder of WikiLeaks into a co-conspirator in the theft and release of classified information. Such evidence could be used in an indictment of Assange on espionage charges. Assange has denied having any contact with Manning.

While it has no compulsion about engaging in a partnership relationship with WikiLeaks and getting Stratfor’s internal emails, McClatchy has its own policy on the need for employees to protect confidential information.

The policy says, “All information you obtain as an officer, director or employee of the Company is the property of the Company and must be treated accordingly. Information not generally available to the public about the Company, its partners, suppliers, associates, news sources, advertisers and customers, including information that might be of use to competitors or harmful to the Company or its customers if disclosed, is confidential information… We must take steps to protect the confidential nature of documents and information both on and off the Company’s premises. We must take care to disclose confidential information only on a ‘need-to-know’ basis.”

Asked if he would mind somebody stealing his emails and releasing them to the public, Asher said his emails weren’t that interesting. When I asked to see them, he laughed and said, “It sounds to me like you have an agenda, sir.”

Asked if he thought WikiLeaks had an agenda, he said, “I don’t care if WikiLeaks has an agenda. I don’t evaluate information based on the agenda of the people who give it to us. I evaluate the information based on how accurate and real it is, and whether it has news value.” The company website has a special section on other WikiLeaks material.

Asked if McClatchy had done a story on WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange working for Moscow-funded Russia Today (RT) television, a controversial arrangement that raises questions about his political orientation, Asher said he wasn’t aware of that information.

However, some independent commentators have started raising questions about Assange’s agenda and loyalties.

GBTV founder and host Glenn Beck points out that Assange initially threatened to do a massive document dump that promised to be damaging to the Russians, but that the material was never released. Instead, Assange went to work for RT, regarded as a mouthpiece for the Russian government and its intelligence services. “He had to know he was going to be paid a visit by—the Russians,” Beck’s website points out. “They have a pattern of ‘silencing’ (read: murdering) journalists and others who damage Russia in one way shape or form. Assange never did release the Russian docs—instead, he now works for the Russian propaganda network RT News.”

Beck said Assange apparently enjoys living more than doing damage to the interests of the Russian government.

Jeff Bercovici of Forbes accuses Assange of monumental hypocrisy by going to work for RT. He says “Assange, self-styled foe of government secrets and conspiracies of the powerful, is going to be a star on a TV network backed by the Kremlin. The same Kremlin that has done suspiciously little to investigate or prevent the killings and beatings of journalists that have plagued Russia for more than a decade.”

He added, “In November 2010, in response to reports that Wikileaks was on the verge of releasing documents that would incriminate powerful Russian politicians and companies, Assange told my colleague Andy Greenberg that ‘we have material on many business and governments, including in Russia.’ As is frequently the case with Assange, no such documents have ever emerged. Anyone want to bet on the chances that’ll ever happen now?”

The implication is that Assange is a Russian agent whose anti-American mission is now out in the open for all to see—except that his U.S. media “partners” may not want to investigate this part of the story.
