ALLEN WEST: MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD & OTHER EXTREMIST GROUPS ARE INFLUENCING U.S. STRATEGY

Get more information about the live GBTV special “Rumors of War III,” airing Wednesday, April 25th at 7 p.m. ET.

Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) is never afraid to take a stand on the issues he holds dear, which is why the conservative politician is taking aim at the FBI for removing nearly 900 pages of allegedly-offensive training materials. According to West, this action, which was taken after Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) complained about some of the materials’ contents, is a form of “cultural suicide.”

Durbin, who wrote a letter to FBI director Robert Mueller about the situation, complained that the controversial documentation could lead Muslims and others to be targeted based on their religion. “There is a real risk that agents will be operating on false assumptions about Arab-Americans and American Muslims,” Durbin maintained.

Allen West: Muslim Brotherhood & Extremist Groups Are Influencing U.S. Strategy

West, though, said that the removal is evidence that extremist Muslim groups are holding sway over U.S. strategy. He discussed the issue of “tolerance” and its relation to the situation in an interview with Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” on Monday morning.

“We have to understand that when tolerance becomes a one-way street it leads to cultural suicide,” he said. “We should not allow the Muslim Brotherhood or associated groups to be influencing our national strategy.”

West’s main concern is that the U.S. seems to be watering down its definition of who America’s enemies are. In an attempt to decrease how intensely officials offend extremists, the politician claims that leaders are potentially endangering the nation.

“If we continue to be recalcitrant in identifying who the enemy is and want to be less offensive to them, then we’re going to put ourselves in a bad situation,” West proclaimed. “Now you have an environment of political correctness which precludes these agents from doing their proper job and due diligence to go after the perceived threat.”

Watch West speak further about this scenario, below:

The subject of radical influences on the U.S. government has been gaining prominence in recent years. On Wednesday, GBTV will air a live documentary event called, “Rumors of War III.” The program will tackle many of the same themes West addressed in his interview on Fox News this morning, as the film tackles extremist groups’ infiltration of the United States.

Following the documentary, Glenn Beck will sit down with guests from the movie who will weigh in on the threats posed by the Muslim Brotherhood, among other groups. GlennBeck.com has more:

The guests joining Glenn include Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin (Former Undersecretary of Defense Intelligence), Andrew McCarthy (Author of The Grand Jihad and former federal prosecutor), Diana West (Author of The Death of the Grown-Up and conservative columnist) and Buck Sexton (The Blaze National Security Editor).

Islamic North Sudan Declares War On Christian South Sudan…

Via: Zip

I’m almost scared to ask, what side will the Obama administration support? Considering South Sudan’s pro-American president still wears the cowboy hat George W. Bush gave him and when the south officially become its own country he thanked their Christian supporters in America I have a sneaking suspicion who.

KAMPALA Uganda (Dow Jones) — Sudan’s president, Omar al-Bashir, Thursday declared war on South Sudan, vowing to topple its government.

The move comes after Sudan’s parliament passed a resolution branding South Sudan’s ruling party an enemy that “must be fought until it is defeated.”

Sudan and South Sudan are embroiled in the worst clashes along their poorly defined border since the secession of the South last summer. The United Nations Security Council is considering sanctions on both countries in an attempt to end the violence, and demanded South Sudanese forces withdraw from their occupation of the 60,000-barrels-a-day oil field Heglig oil field. Both countries continue to ignore calls to end the fighting.

On a visit Thursday to the oil-rich, restive border state of South Kordofan, Bashir rallied his troops, which are now engaged on three fronts with South Sudan.

“Heglig isn’t the end, it is the beginning, and we shall go all the way to [South Sudanese capital] Juba,” Bashir told a rally.

South Sudan’s army spokesman, Col. Philip Aguer, dismissed Bashir’s threat, saying that the South’s army would keep Sudan’s aggression at bay.

“If they didn’t defeat us when we were a green army, how will they defeat us now,” he said.

NY: @Wegmans Market Creates Sharia-Compliant Checkout Line for Muslim Cashier

This is how it creeps. via Atlas Shrugs – Islamization of the Workplace: Wegman’s Adheres to Sharia, Halal Checkout Line for Muslim Cashier.

Wegman’s has put up a sign asking customers buying pork or alcohol not to use a particular checkout line when a Muslim teenager is on duty as the cashier. More islamization of the marketplace. This is a pattern. If you dont want to handle meat that’s not halal, work for a Muslim butcher. Don’t take a job at Wegman’s, Wal-mart or Target. But it is not about that. It’s about imposing Islam on non-Muslims. Special accommodations for a “special class.” This is part of a systematic campaign to impose the sharia on the secular marketplace. Muslim workers suing Disney over their sixty-year-old dress code or Muslim cashiers suing Wal-Mart and Target over their refusal to handle meat that is not halal is all part of a much larger supremacist effort. It has succeeded in Europe, which is all but doomed. They mean to replicate it here. This is well documented in my book, Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance. Wegmans Foods Markets, Inc. c/o Jo Natale, Public Relations 1500 Brooks Avenue PO Box 30844 Rochester, NY 14603-0844 Customer Affairs: 1-800-WEGMANS (934-6267) Email: jo.natale@wegmans.com The media shapes the story like it’s a great thing and oh doesn’t everyone thinks it’s a great idea? No, we don’t.

Sign at Wegmans draws attention It’s a first for Wegmans in this area. They’ve put up a sign asking customers buying pork or alcohol not to use a particular checkout line when a Muslim teenager is on duty as the cashier. The sign went up a week ago at their Lyell Avenue store. Wegmans says they haven’t gotten any in store complaints and Wegmans was very upfront about the cashier. They just wouldn’t allow us in the store to talk with her or customers. Spokeswoman Jo Natale says the cashier is a teenaged girl who wears a head covering. She told her supervisor she was uncomfortable handling those items because of religious reasons. So the store manager who had experience with this type of situation outside of Rochester decided to put up a small sign whenever the girl was at the checkout counter. It says, “If your order contains pork or alcohol product, we respectfully ask that you choose another lane.” Wegmans also says the girl has been coached what to say if customers ask why. People News10NBC spoke with outside the Lyell Avenue Wegmans store said they were okay with it and one even knows Christians who don’t like the idea of serving alcohol. Bernard Thomas said, “I feel like if they’re going to hire her and she’s got to have the job, why shouldn’t we respect her. Just go to another cashier.” Darlene Hucko said, “I would respect her beliefs and go to the next line if I had alcohol. Levato said, “You think that’s okay.” Hucko said, “I think it is okay.” Alex Gritsvuta said, “I’m from a Christian background and waiters…the Christian girls that I know have a problem serving alcohol to people in a bar. Not in the bar necessarily, maybe in the restaurant.” It’s not ok and should not be tolerated. If you want to live in an Islamic country you are free to do so. The overwhelming majority of Americans do not want to live under sharia law. Contact Wegmans and your elected officials.

OCCUPY MASTERMIND STEPHEN LERNER REVEALS NEXT STEPS: STUDENT LOAN STRIKES & CRASH SHAREHOLDER MTGS

Stephen Lerner (Photo: Rod Leon)

Via: The Blaze

Regular readers of this site will know the name Stephen Lerner. For those who don’t, here’s a quick refresher: he’s the SEIU organizer whoThe Blaze revealed almost a year to the day as the man behind the early stages of the Occupy movement. Back then, he admitted to wanting to bring down financial institutions and collapse the system. Now he’s back with an op-ed in the liberal magazine The Nation, and he‘s outlining what’s coming next.

“Occupy has cracked open the door that lets us imagine that another world is possible,” Lerner writes, before bragging about the countless arrests of those within the movement. “Thousands of arrests, months of protest and acts of incredible personal risk and sacrifice have put inequality and Wall Street’s out-of-control political and economic power on center stage. As activity ratchets up this spring, the challenge is to get more people pushing that door open ever wider.”

So what does “pushing that door open wider” look like? How about organizing massive student loan strikes and crashing annual shareholder meetings.

Student loan strikes

Lerner justifies the strike idea like this:

Students and their families now have nearly a trillion dollars of debt, with average debt totaling over $25,000. The explosion in student debt is a direct outgrowth of the defunding of education in state after state. Unlike corporate and other debt, student debt is excluded from bankruptcy relief, strangling students for life. Reducing student debt load and the interest rates applied to it would save hundreds of billions of dollars in debt payments. It’s a first step to creating equal access to education and giving students a fair start without a lifetime burden.

Then he plants the seed:

There is growing interest in Occupy and student groups in a student debt strike. The banks can’t foreclose on a brain or a degree. If a critical mass of student debtors—a million or more—pledged to refuse to pay, it would create a collection crisis that could force negotiations about reducing student debt.

Key phrase: “it would create a collection crisis.”

Crashing shareholder meetings

Student debt strikes are just the beginning, however. Lerner wants more, and that “more,” not surprisingly, involves greater collaboration with the unions.

“Starting with GE on April 25 in Detroit and moving on to Wells Fargo, Bank of America and dozens of other corporations in May and June, tens of thousands of people from Occupy, community organizations, unions and environmental groups will show up at the annual shareholder meetings of major corporations,” he explains. “Some people will be on the inside with proxies, and others will be massed in the streets, all delivering the message that it is no longer acceptable for giant, unaccountable corporations to decide the political and economic fate of the country.”

Key points: It’s starting April 25; it involves “tens of thousands” from unions and even environmental groups; and it will even involve people “on the inside.”

A movement in need of direction?

Lerner’s direction comes as the movement is awakening with fury — 73 were arrested at the movement‘s epicenter in New York City’s Zucotti Park over the weekend. And top-down direction seems to be what the willing Occupy foot soldiers are in need of. Consider that after the weekend fracas, the same problems of blurry vision and a lack of uniformity that plagued the movement in the fall sprang up once again.

“I’m really grateful to be part of a generation that wants change, ’cause we should all want change,” said Jennifer Campbell, a graduate student in documentary filmmaking at Hofstra University. “But I’m not sure what that change is, or if they know what that change is.”

“We’re going to keep going,” said Christopher Guerra, who has spent many nights at Zuccotti since the movement started last Sept. 17. He added, “It’s going to get interesting during the election cycle. We’re going to be more of a presence in the political world. I know we have a couple of people running for office.”

According to Mother Jones magazine, 10 candidates for House and Senate seats in the November elections have made Occupy part of their campaigns. They include Massachusetts Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren and Hakeem Jeffries, who is running for Congress in Brooklyn. But some Occupy supporters consider themselves anarchists who abjure electoral politics.

Sandra Nurse, a member of Occupy’s direct action working group, said she expects college students will have “a huge role to play this summer organizing around student debt.” She noted that the issue resonates both with students and with their parents and has the potential to broaden the movement. It‘s straight out of Lerner’s playbook.

But Ted Schulman, an Occupy protester who lives near Zuccotti, said his focus is the upcoming United Nation Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro. He said he wants to “challenge the U.N. on what their vision of a green economy is.”

Harlem resident Kanene Holder said the movement is broader than any one issue. “This is not a beauty pageant,” she said. “We cannot homogenize this movement into one streamlined vision.”

“I understand the Occupy movement,” observer Brian Cummings of Iowa said. “I understand a lot of people’s frustration. I’m not sure how effective it is. … Nothing seems to be being accomplished.”

And that’s where Lerner comes in. In his conclusion, he embraced the confusion: “Emerging movements are complicated, exciting, messy, confusing and wonderful things to be a part of.”

Real-life “Machete:” Illegal alien charged in two brutal attacks

Lexington, SC – On Wednesday, Jose Hernandez Mendez, 26, was arrested by Lexington County sheriff’s deputies on outstanding warrants for multiple assault and battery charges.

According to court documents, Mendez struck Donnie Moore several times on the back with a machete at a home in Gaston on September 20, 2008. Then, on May 5, 2009, Mendez allegedly slashed Victor Gomez-Alvarez on the head and left hand with a machete at the victim’s Lexington home.

While deputies were processing Mendez, they discovered he is in the country illegally.

In a press release, Sheriff James Metts said: “Specially trained correctional officers at the Lexington County Detention Center who enforce federal immigration laws at the facility under the supervision of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) determined that Mendez illegally entered the United States from Mexico.”

Mendez is currently being held at the Lexington County Detention Center on an ICE detainer.

Of course, machete attacks are becoming more commonplace throughout the country as illegal immigration becomes a national crisis.

  • In March 2011, Flagler County (FL) sheriff’s deputies arrested Rafael Rodriguez, 25, after he actually called 911 to report that he had been shot in the head.

Just before 10:00 p.m., deputies arrived at Rodriguez’ home and observed a cut on his head, but he refused medical attention.

According to the arrest report, Rodriguez was highly intoxicated, this, combined with a language barrier made it difficult for the deputies to determine how Rodriguez was injured.

Eventually, Rodriguez explained that he became involved in some sort of altercation with a group of men over a vehicle. While the deputies were questioning those suspects, they received a call about a man throwing Molotov cocktails into a nearby road.

The man turned out to be Rodriguez, who then ran from the scene, back to his home.

When deputies arrived at Rodriguez’ residence again, he reportedly approached them with an 18-inch machete in his hand, and refused all commands (given in Spanish) to drop the weapon.

Deputies used a Taser, to subdue Rodriguez and took him into custody.

Rodriguez was transported to Florida Hospital Flagler, but again refused treatment. The Mexican national was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer and resisting arrest.

  • On February 10, 2011, Prince William County (VA) police arrested Jose Oswaldo Reyes Alfaro, 37, after he allegedly went on a shooting and stabbing spree which left three people dead and three others wounded. When he was taken into custody, the Salvadoran national had in his possession, a machete as well as a .38 caliber revolver.

The two separate attacks occurred only a few blocks apart.

The list of victims follows:

The Hood Road attack:

  • Brenda Ashcraft, 56, pronounced dead at the scene from gunshot wounds
  • William Ashbey Ashcroft, 37, died in route to the hospital
  • 34-year-old woman, gunshot wound, survived
  • 15-year-old girl, gunshot wound, survived
  • The Brent Street location
  • Julio Cesar Ulloa, 48, pronounced dead at the scene from gunshot wound
  • 77-year-old unidentified woman, suffered stab wounds, severe lacerations to the head, survived

According to Manassas Police Chief Doug Keen, the suspect was ordered deported in 2002, but was never detained by federal immigration authorities and never left, despite two more arrests after his deportation order.

  • In October 2007, Rolando Mota-Campos,43, whose face is adorned with a teardrop tattoo stood in a Norfolk, Va. federal courtroom to be sentenced for threatening to cut off a social worker’s head with a machete.

U.S. District Judge Henry Coke Morgan Jr. said: “The defendant has expressly stated that he has no respect for the United States and that once deported he will re-enter again and come back to Newport News where his history of alcohol abuse will further endanger the residents of this district.” Judge Morgan sentenced Mota-Campos to 14 1/2 years in prison.

According to court documents, when he was arrested, Mota-Campos told the ICE agent: “United States is stupid…I come back every time.”

You might say, truer words were never spoken…

It was Mota-Campos’11th arrest in the United States after having been deported three times back to Mexico.

  • During 2004-2005, there were two machete attacks in the Northern Virginia area. An Alexandria teenager lost four fingers during a savage encounter with MS-13 members, while a Fairfax man also became a victim of an MS-13 machete attack. Both incidents are believed to have been acts of initiation.

In addition to violent slashing attacks, our largely unprotected border with Mexico has resulted in the spread of drug cartel activity in the U.S., and with it…beheadings: http://www.examiner.com/drug-cartel-in-national/cartel-violence-is-here-teen-tortured-beheaded-oklahoma-press-silent

White House Official Says Obama Insisted Netanyahu Postpone Attack on Iran Until After November Elections…

Because what could possibly be more important than Obama winning reelection?

(Ynet) — Israel will only strike Iranian nuclear facilities in September or after the United States presidential elections in November, a White House official told the British Sunday Times newspaper after a meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Barack Obama last week.

According to the report, Obama has taken Israel’s warnings about a possible strike in Iran very seriously. The Washington source added that the president “might visit in the summer to reassure the Israelis that the US commitment to defend Israel is unshakable and thus thwart a possible autumn attack.”

Obama insisted that any attack on Iran should be postponed until after the US presidential elections in November, possibly even until next spring. The source revealed that Netanyahu consented to delaying a strike, but wished to know until when. “The question is how much time,” he reportedly said.

Palestinians Fire 100 Qassam And Grad Rockets At Southern Israel…

As always, the “peace-loving” Palestinians will get a free pass from the left.

(JPost) — Palestinian terrorists in Gaza targeted cities, towns, and farming regions in southern Israel with waves of rockets throughout Friday and Saturday, setting off air raid sirens and injuring eight people

One hundred rockets — Kassams and the longer-range Grads — were fired by midday Saturday at civilian regions. Of those, the Iron Dome anti-rocket system intercepted 25 projectiles heading directly into city centers in Ashdod, Beersheba and Ashkelon. Seventy-five rockets exploded in Israeli territory, most of them in open fields. The barrage came after the IAF foiled a major terror attack, killing the secretary general of the Popular Resistance Committees, Zuhair Qaisi.

Eight people were injured on Friday evening. In the Eshkol Regional Council, a 40-year-old man was seriously injured from rocket shrapnel, a second man was moderately injured by shrapnel in his stomach, and a third was lightly injured. Paramedics said the injured were foreign workers. An electric pole and a vehicle were also damaged in the same area.

The seriously injured man was airlifted to the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba, and remains in critical condition.

Two people were lightly injured in a car accident that occurred during an air raid siren at the Emunim Junction between Ashdod and Ashkelon on Friday evening.

Three other people in the South were lightly injured while fleeing for cover during sirens. One civilian was treated for shock. The injured were taken to the Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot and the Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon for treatment.

Police bomb squad units moved from one explosion site to another seeking to ensure that the fallen rockets did not pose a further threat to the public.

The rocket barrages tapered off at around 3 a.m., but resumed again on Saturday morning, when air raid sirens rang out in Beersheba and Ashdod.

Holder Says He Finds It “Disturbing” That The NYPD Would Try And Keep City Safe From Islamist Terrorists…

Via: Zip. Holder would prefer they waste their time looking for the mythical Tea Party “extremists.”

(Politico) — Attorney General Eric Holder said Thursday that he finds “disturbing” reports that New York Police Department conducted broad surveillance of Muslims outside New York City as part of counter-terrorism efforts.

“At least what I’ve read publicly, and, again, just what I’ve read in the newspapers, is disturbing,” Holder said during a Senate Appropriations subcommittee hearing Thursday morning. “And these are things that are under review at the Justice Department.”

Holder’s comments came after Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.) asked the attorney general “how a law enforcement agency could spy on another state’s residents without notifying the authorities, the governor or the mayor even knowing about it?”

“I don’t know,” Holder replied. He said Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J.), a former U.S. Attorney for New Jersey, recently complained to him about the NYPD activity.

“He expressed to me the concerns that he had. He’s now publicly expressed his concerns, as only he can,” Holder added.

Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) has accused Christie of taking “cheap shots” at New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly over the program, which was disclosed in a long-running investigative series by the Associated Press.
