The chairman of First Solar, a company that received approximately $3.1 billion in federal loan guarantees under President Obama’s green energy initiative, said Wednesday that the majority of the jobs created by the company have been overseas.

Speaking at a hearing of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, First Solar chairman Michael Ahearn admitted that most of the company’s full-time jobs are held overseas.

“In sheer numbers, most of our full-time employees are outside the U.S,” Ahearns said.

(Fox News) — The Obama White House is drawing ridicule for appending the official online biographies of nearly every president over the last century in order to link President Obama’s accomplishments to the former commanders in chief.

The Obama team went into the pages of U.S. presidents dating back to Calvin Coolidge to add friendly looking “Did you know?” fact boxes to the end of their bios. Those additions were used to plug a host of Obama administration initiatives, ranging from the health care overhaul to the so-called “Buffett Rule” to his green-energy policies.

For instance, the following line was added to the official bio of the late President Ronald Reagan: “In a June 28, 1985, speech, Reagan called for a fairer tax code, one where a multimillionaire did not have a lower tax rate than his secretary. Today, President Obama is calling for the same with the Buffett Rule.”

The White House is coming under heavy criticism from conservatives for the changes, and not just to Reagan’s page.

Late Tuesday, the White House defended itself, claiming the staff was merely adding links to other pages.

“No biographies have been altered,” a White House official told Fox News. “We simply added links at the bottom of each page to related whitehouse.gov content, which is a commonly used best practice to encourage people to browse more pages on a site.”

The additions do include links, but they’re more than that. Each one finds a way to tout an Obama administration policy or practice in the process.

There’s this at the bottom of the Franklin D. Roosevelt biography, for instance:

“On August 14, 1935, President Roosevelt signed the Social Security Act. Today the Obama administration continues to protect seniors and ensure Social Security will be there for future generations.”

And this, at the end of President Lyndon Johnson’s, drawing a link between his signing of Medicare and Obama’s signing of the health care overhaul:

“President Lyndon Johnson signed Medicare into law in 1965 — providing millions of elderly health care stability. President Obama’s historic health care reform law, the Affordable Care Act, strengthens Medicare, offers eligible seniors a range of preventive services with no cost-sharing, and provides discounts on drugs when in the coverage gap known as the ‘donut hole.’”

The changes also link Harry Truman’s call for civil rights to the Obama administration’s push to repeal “don’t ask, don’t tell.” And they link Jimmy Carter’s creation of the Department of Energy to Obama’s push for an “all of the above” energy approach today.

The Obama accomplishments cited range from the significant to the mundane.

Washington, DC – The Obama agents, through the DHS and other assorted colluders, are plotting a major ‘Reichstag’ event to generate racial riots and produce the justification for martial law, delaying the November 2012 elections, possibly indefinitely, a DHS whistleblower informed the Canada Free Press on Tuesday.

The ‘Reichstag Event’ would take the form of a staged assassination attempt against Barack Obama, “carefully choreographed” and manufactured by Obama operatives. It would subsequently be blamed on “white supremacists” and used to enrage the black community to rioting and looting, the DHS source warned.

The Obama administration would then use the violence and chaos they created as justification for the imposition of martial law in major urban cities in America, the creation of DHS checkpoints, restriction of travel, and the indefinite delay of the November 2012 elections.

The Reichstag event refers to a fire started during Hitler’s rise to power. The fire allowed him to grab emergency powers and murder his opposition. Historians have long believed that Hitler started the fire himself, while he blamed it on the Communists.

The anonymous whistleblower elaborated on how the Obama administration is using the Occupy movement, labor unions, and other assorted subversive groups to create massive chaos within the nation.

“Using untracked campaign funds, they are paying people to infiltrate the various movements to cause physical destruction of property and disrupt commerce. That began last year, but has increased ten-fold already this year,” the DHS source shared.

“Obama is using some high profile people as pawns to foment the revolution. I heard several times through very credible sources that [Louis] Farrakhan is on the CIA payroll. Other have been named as well, but I’m not prepared to identify them yet. Farrakhan is to coordinate the Blacks and the Muslims to prepare for riots this summer, using any means necessary.”

The recent revelations appeared to complement warnings given by other government insiders, who alleged that Jeremiah Wright, Van Jones, Al Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson were all agent provocateurs whose mission was to inflame racial tensions and spark open conflict in the streets of America.

According to the DHS source, a global economic collapse is coming, which the Obama administration is well aware of. They wish to build a system of global governance from the ashes of the previous financial system. In order for this mission to be completed, the Obama administration needs more time at the helm of power. Their reasons for concern are justified; as recently as May 8, influential political prognosticator Dick Morris predicted a Romney landslide if the election were held today.

The shocking news also seemed to confirm recent actions taken by the DHS, such as their purchase of 450 million rounds of ammunition and their recent BlackHawk helicopters operation in Chicago, which looked frighteningly similar to a civil unrest exercise, but was described as “routine training”.

The concept of a staged assassination attempt against Barack Obama is not new as well and was first voiced by a knowledgeable White House insider known only as “WHI”.

Ulsterman:  So what is it?  Pull what off?

Insider:  A manufactured threat against the President of the United States.  Something easily digested by the media and the American public.  Not a real threat – something totally of their own making. They will use it if they need to – got no doubt whatsoever about that.  Jarrett has approved the idea…and did so a long time ago.  There were whispers of it during the 2008 campaign.  McCain was so god-awful it never reached a serious consideration…but the plan was discussed.  If needed – they were willing to go that route.  It would be the ultimate use of the race card in the history of American politics.  And…it would likely work if they got away with it.

Ulsterman:  They would go that far? Risk something like that?

Insider:  You don’t need to ask that question.  Not after what we’ve discussed this past year.  Not after what I’ve told you has proven out over and over again.  So stop asking the fu—ing question.  You need to accept the fact…if you haven’t done so yet – you need to accept the fact these people are playing for keeps.  I told you – how many times?  How many times have I said it?  These are not Democrats.  These folks are something else entirely.  And they are willing to push the country – all of us, right against the fu—ing wall.  Hard.  I’m pushing back.  Others are too.  All of this is part of that effort.  A small part, but an important one.

As with the Occupy movement, it appears as if the Obama administration executed a test-run of the plot, with a “shot being fired” at the White House. This would lend credibility when they choreographed the attempt for the masses.

As early as August 2011, WHI also predicted race riots coming in the summer of 2012. The use of the Trayvon Martin death and the subsequent incitements to violence by the media, Obama operatives, and useful idiots, followed by the subsequent threats by the NBPP of a coming “race war” appear to have been merely a sign of what’s to come.

Middle-class American citizens were shocked and appalled at the allegations, with many hoping they were not true. Some said they had harbored similar suspicions for quite some time, due to the many anomalies and inaccuracies emanating from the current operatives inhabiting the White House.

The DHS source claimed that campaign funds were being directly used to fund the incitements to violence and rioting that the Obama administration was seeking to spark.

“Using untracked campaign funds, they are paying people to infiltrate the various movements to cause physical destruction of property and disrupt commerce. That began last year, but has increased ten-fold already this year,” stated this source.

“He added that they are using some lower level DHS agents to make the payments under the context of tracking subversives, but they are the unwitting subversives.”

The use of campaign funds, funneled through DHS agents to street-level agitators for the purpose of fomenting violence, would be extremely legally questionable, if not outright illegal, certain legal experts shared.

Intelligence officials said that if the allegations were true, the degree to which extremists had penetrated the upper echelons of the American government, finance, and security structure was unparalleled.

“Let’s just say that we are not taking these accusations lightly,” one official remarked on condition of anonymity. “Certain figures will be placed under a microscope, along with their associates.”

Valerie Jarrett, the shadowy figure always at Obama’s side, has been accused by some of “manipulating” or “controlling’ the President. Just who does she work for? Who does she take orders from?

The possibility that Barack Obama’s operatives, under the direction of Valerie Jarrett, was actively involved in the facilitation of street violence and mob chaos disturbed citizens, with many deeming it unpatriotic, subversive, and possibly seditious.

“Isn’t this why HUAC was created?”, one middle-class citizen angrily questioned. “Congress must re-instate HUAC, hold hearings, and find out if there is any truth to this.”

The intensely close co-ordination of seemingly separate entities confirmed the suspicions of many that communist agents had infiltrated major institutions, organizations, and trade unions, and were working together to sabotage America.

Who is Valerie Jarrett?

“Their apparatus can be seen as a type of octupus, having many tentacles,” one intelligence source confided on condition of anonymity. “Occupy is one tentacle, the unions are another, the Black Panthers are another, the radical black/islamic supremacists(Wright, Farrakhan, Van Jones, Sharpton) are another, DHS and its’ umbrella agencies are another, the mainstream press is another,” the source explained. “These tentacles are all working together, seemingly separate, but eventually they are controlled by the same small group of people. They receive their directives and marching orders and mindlessly execute them.”

The intelligence official predicted that in the very near future, all of the seemingly separate entities would be clearly exposed as working together, co-ordinating their activities together, and driving for the same goal – the destruction of America as a constitutional republic, the destruction of its capitalist system, and the dethroning of the U.S. as a superpower.

When Arizona’s state senate passed SB (Senate Bill) 1070i, the Obama administration immediately sued and enjoined the state from enforcing parts of the bill.  As the issue is argued before the Supreme Court, political questions remain: why did President Obama sue Arizona so quickly, and could the legal action have been politically motivated?

Clues to the politics of the issue are revealed by what Obama and other Washington Democrats have said regarding their prime mission during Obama’s first term.  On October 19, 2011, Senate leader Harry Reid stated: “It’s very clear that private-sector jobs have been doing just fine[;] it’s the public sector where we’ve lost huge numbers[.]”  The significance of this statement is that it was made by the Senate majority leader at a time when the private sector was suffering the highest unemployment rate in many decades.  A week before Reid’s comments, Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. suggested that we need $204 billion to bail out cities and states and that this task is so important that the president should declare a national emergency.  President Obama has said we need to “save” teacher jobs.

Clearly, these statements show that the focus of the Obama administration and his party is on public-sector jobs, and he has selected teachers’ jobs as a high priority.

What does Arizona’s immigration law have to do with teachers’ jobs?  The answer to this question should connect the Democrats’ mission statements to the Supreme Court challenge.  As it turns out, the answers are found in the traditional sources: campaign contributions and political power.

In Illinois, the state where Obama once served in the state Senate, the two teachers’ unions are the largest contributors to Democrats running for state offices.  In 2005-06, teacher unions contributed $4.5 million, in 2007-8 $2.95 million — more than any other donorsii.  On the national level, of the ten largest all-time campaign donors, four are in the public sector, and the majority of their money goes to the Democratic Partyiii; AFCSME gives only one percent of its campaign donations to Republicansiv.  The Democratic Party heavily depends on public-sector union campaign contributions at the local, state, and national levels.

The next step, the connection between teachers’ unions and illegal immigrants, is that illegal immigrants are essential to the survival of public-sector jobs in cities such as Chicago.  And since Obama and his education secretary Arne Duncan are both from Chicago, it’s useful to see how Chicago’s teachers’ unions stand to benefit from illegal immigration.

The benefit is simple and direct: just as Democrats get campaign money from the teacher unions, teachers get their money based on the number of students enrolled at their schools.  Each Chicago public student brings $15,800v from local, state, and federal sources.  Therein lies the connection: in older industrial cities such as Chicago, the only portion of the student body that is increasing is Hispanicvi.  The enrollment of white, African-American, and Asian students has been declining for decades.

Right now the only hope Chicago teachers have of hanging onto their jobs — and the only hope Democrats have of receiving teacher campaign money — is to pander to Hispanic students.  A University of Chicago study found that most white children born in the city leave within five years, while Hispanic children stayvii.  As a result, schools are closing down in black and white neighborhoods, and new schools are being built only in Hispanic neighborhoods.  This is why Hispanics are being carefully funneled into Hispanic supermajority neighborhoods, a neat political tactic enabled by the Voting Rights Act.  This legal demographic tool enables city wards to be gerrymandered into ethnic supermajorities to achieve the goal of maintaining “representation” for the minorities.

Logistical support for this population is provided through the matricula consular card and other benefitsviii.  These benefits help keep the Hispanic population growing: Mexican families have an average of 3.5ix children, about twice as many as white taxpayers, and more than any other Hispanic group.  In Chicago, each illegal immigrant Mexican family brings $69,000 to public-sector job holders; other illegal immigrant ethnicities, $59,000x.  So if one were to  maximize income from children, one would choose Hispanics, and Mexicans specifically, to bring in the most money to public-sector jobholders.

Nationally, figures indicating the growth of Hispanic students are even more stunning.  Since Chicago’s Sanctuary Policy started in 1985,  now most Hispanics of school age are born in the U.S.: while Hispanics are 14% of the U.S. population, one-fourth of all newborns in the U.S. are Hispanic, and one-fifth of allschool-age children are Hispanicxi.  In California, one-half of the students are Hispanic; in Chicago, 44%.  Only 8.8% of Chicago public-school students are white.  So the resource-maximizer of education in the big Democrat-run cities is not better school curricula or longer class days, but rather larger Hispanic populations.  Legal immigration and births could never provide enough new students to keep the schools going.

Maintaining voter rolls and political power are also primary reasons for illegal immigration: Illinois has 490, 000 illegal immigrants, enough to save one congressional seatxii.  Congressional district populations do not need citizens, only “residents,” to support a representative.

A 1982 investigation by U.S. Attorney Daniel Webb found that 80,000 illegal aliens were registered to vote in Chicagoxiii.  From 1990 to 2000, the number of Hispanics of voting age in Cook County, IL increased 54% to 689,383xiv.

So illegal immigration is the strategy Democrats have enabled, through administrative corruption, to keep classrooms full, campaign money flowing, and congressional seats maintained.

The flow of illegal immigrants to Chicago is also encouraged by the city’s Sanctuary Policy, a benefit-enabling policy first passed in 1985xv.  This act encourages the flow of illegal immigrants to the city.  Not all illegal immigrants are Hispanic  — Chicago also has a sizable population of Polish and other Eastern European illegal immigrants.  They arrive legally and become illegal only when they overstay their visas.  The vast majority of those arriving into Arizona are, however, Hispanic.

Think of illegal immigration as a type of make-work program, like the WPA in the 1930s.  Only, instead of bringing workers into national forests to carve hiking paths, illegal immigrants are being encouraged and supported to go to metro areas where they keep teachers, social workers, school lunch vendors, and politicians in their public-sector jobs.  Without people, people programs and politicians cannot exist.  To paraphrase Eisenhower, a vast “illegal immigrant-entitlement complex” has been created.  Its goal is to support the public-jobs infrastructure created by the Great Society programs.

For these reasons, Obama cannot stand by and allow any state, particularly Arizona — which serves as an entryway for illegal immigrants — to interfere with the flow of immigrants into the U.S. and Democrat-controlled cities.

“Forward!”

Obama has adopted “Forward” as a slogan for the campaign.  It is not very original. It has been used by other leftist movements throughout the world.

I can see why they chose it.  After all, who can be against moving forward? Whatever the observer deems to be a desirable future will be what he or she assumes the slogan has in mind.

So what does “forward” mean to the Obama team? Well we can only assume it reflects the continued effort to “thoroughly transform America;” a promised goal of the 2008 campaign.

Along those lines, Obama and his mentors long ago came to the realization that the old Marxian tactics based on the division of society into two competing camps – the Bourgeoisie and the Proletariat failed to bring about the “transforming” revolution.  These tactics were posited on the assumption that the plight of the working class would inexorably deteriorate and that, eventually, after the middle class had been wiped out by “big business,” and after enough blood had been shed, the worker’s paradise would emerge.

The fact that Capitalism proved to be the greatest mechanism ever devised to provide massive improvements in lifestyles – and life spans, has not stopped the left from seeking to kill the goose that has laid this remarkable golden egg.

They have come up with new strategies that seem to be working fairly well.  Instead of trying to overthrow the Capitalist system, they have determined they must work within it to seize control of the mechanisms of power and use them to transform society. New allies could be developed if the working class that Obama says he has written off can’t be counted on to form the army of the proletariat.  These new recruits now come from the ranks of the indoctrinated children of middle class families (Occupy Movement) and from the silk stocking liberals who, apparently ashamed of their wealth, have agreed to bankroll the movement.

Of course, these groups combined don’t have what it takes to “thoroughly transform” a society. However, years of work to co-opt the major institutions of society – the educational establishment, the news and entertainment media and as many churches as could be motivated to join the cause of promoting “social justice” are paying huge dividends.

Their influence has helped change a nation of rugged individuals into a “Nation of Moochers,” as the title of Charles Sykes new book describes contemporary America.

Now I don’t believe that any of this was the result a few committed radicals, meeting in dark cafes and directing the operation of cell groups throughout the country.  The intellectual blueprint for this new strategy was spewed out by people like Saul Alinsky and lapped up by the Bill Ayers of the world. Community Organizers like Barack went forward to spread the gospel of identity politics. They recognized that a new proletariat could be built out of the creation of a host of “victimized” groups.  These would not be made up only of race and gender specifications, but eco-terrorists, crony capitalists and an ever expanding class of freeloaders who could deliver votes to remake society from within.

“When you rob Peter to pay Paul, you will always be able to count on Paul’s vote” is an adage as profound as any I have ever heard.

So the political flash mob is in place. They have their leader and their slogan. You will see “Forward” plastered everywhere and chanted by the Obamanistas at every rally. And every time you hear “Forward” in a commercial or see on a bumper sticker, just add the words, “into the Abyss” in your own mind.  It is the true message of the Obama campaign.

Obama Administration to Pass New Laws to Limit Fracking …(Obama Kills More Jobs)

The Obama Administration is set to pass new rules and regulations to limit the fracking industry, slow production, and kill jobs.

The Obama administration will soon issue sweeping new environmental safety rules for hydraulic fracturing on federal land, setting a new standard that natural gas wells on all lands eventually could follow.

The rules, which are likely to be unveiled by the Interior Department within days, are designed to address concerns that the method of extracting natural gas known as “fracking” can contaminate groundwater. Among other things, they create new guidelines for constructing wells and treating waste water, according to a draft of the proposed rules reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.

At the same time, the department loosened a proposed requirement for companies to disclose the chemicals they use to extract natural gas from the earth, after the industry complained an earlier version would slow drilling too much.

The change, which disappointed environmentalists, is a fresh sign that the administration is heeding industry concerns after Republican complaints of over-regulation.

Last month, the Environmental Protection Agency gave the industry two years to comply with new air quality standards for oil and natural gas wells after the industry complained it would be difficult to meet new standards. Initially, the department wanted energy companies to specify in advance which chemicals they put into fracking fluids.

Under the draft rules, they would instead have to identify the chemicals after they have already put them into the ground. In the weeks leading up to the proposal of the rules, several oil and natural gas companies, including Exxon Mobil and Apache Corp. met with top White House officials to weigh in on possible changes.

Apache declined to comment. ExxonMobil declined to comment.

The Natural Resources Defense Council praised the administration for reducing the potential for contamination under the new rules but said it was disappointed the department had loosened the chemical disclosure requirement.

Toying with Medicare to fix elex

Postponing the pain: The administration is temporarily restoring funds to Medicare Advantage so seniors don’t lose coverage before the election.

But certain voters would surely notice one highly painful part of the law before then — namely, the way it guts the popular Medicare Advantage program. For years, 12 million seniors have relied on these policies, a more market-oriented alternative to traditional Medicare, without the aggravating gaps in coverage. But as part of its hundreds of billions in Medicare cuts, the Obama one-size-fits-all plan slashes reimbursement rates for Medicare Advantage starting next year — herding many seniors back into the government-run program. Under federal “open-enrollment” guidelines, seniors must pick their Medicare coverage program for next year by the end of this year — which means they should be finding out before Election Day. Nothing is more politically volatile than monkeying with the health insurance of seniors, who aren’t too keen on confusing upheavals in their health care and are the most diligent voters in the land. This could make the Tea Party look like a tea party. Making matters even more politically dangerous for Obama is that open enrollment begins Oct. 15, less than three weeks before voters go to the polls. It’s hard to imagine a bigger electoral disaster for a president than seniors in crucial states like Florida, Pennsylvania and Ohio discovering that he’s taken away their beloved Medicare Advantage just weeks before an election. This political ticking time bomb could become the biggest “October Surprise” in US political history. But the administration’s devised a way to postpone the pain one more year, getting Obama past his last election; it plans to spend $8 billion to temporarily restore Medicare Advantage funds so that seniors in key markets don’t lose their trusted insurance program in the middle of Obama’s re-election bid. The money is to come from funds that Health and Human Services is allowed to use for “demonstration projects.” But to make it legal, HHS has to pretend that it’s doing an “experiment” to study the effect of this money on the insurance market. That is, to “study” what happens when the government doesn’t change anything but merely continues a program that’s been going on for years. Obama can temporarily prop up Medicare Advantage long enough to get re-elected by exploiting an obscure bit of federal law. Under a 1967 statute, the HHS secretary can spend money without specific approval by Congress on “experiments” directly aimed at “increasing the efficiency and economy of health services.” Past demonstration projects have studied new medical techniques or strategies aimed at improving care or reducing costs. The point is to find ways to lower the costs of Medicare by allowing medical technocrats to make efficient decisions without interference from vested interests. Now Obama means to turn it on its head — diverting the money to a blatantly nonexperimental purpose to serve his political needs. A Government Accounting Office report released this morning shows, quite starkly, that there simply is no experiment being conducted, just money being spent. Understandably, the GAO recommends that HHS cancel the project. Congress should immediately launch an investigation into this unprecedented misuse of taxpayer money and violation of the public trust, which certainly presses the boundaries of legality and very well may breach them. If he’s not stopped, Obama will spend $8 billion in taxpayer funds for a scheme to mask the debilitating effects on seniors of his signature piece of legislation just long enough to get himself re-elected. How Obama Plans to Win

His approval rating is in the toilet.  His re-elect numbers are abysmal for an incumbent President at this point in his term. He has stated that he is giving up on white, working class Americans. The economy, regardless of how he tries to talk it up, is lethargic at best. His “foreign policy” consists of repeating the line “ (fill in name of country) is one of our best allies and punches above its weight.”  Independents are deserting him in droves.  Obamacare is still unpopular and his numbers will fall even farther after it is declared unconstitutional.

Of course the Obama attack machine (campaign and left wing media) will immediately go to town after the Supreme Court announces its decision and try to whip up the base with frightening rants about the end of Roe v Wade being just one vote away.  Even if this ploy works, independents will not be pulled over to his side in big enough numbers to stop the slide. The Catholic Church has taken off the gloves over BO’s attempt to force them to provide insurance that includes coverage for abortion inducing drugs.  They are attacking him from the pulpit and with a television commercial that is as hard hitting as anything produced by James Carville.

Romney can capitalize on this and hopefully remember that the election is about one thing and one thing only – Obama. He can fashion a campaign to remind Americans of BO’s Operation Fast and Furious, the policy of selling automatic weapons to the Mexican drug cartels. Romney can play the President’s laudatory comments about the Occupy Movement while showing its members defecating on police cars.

Oh yeah, Romney can also show the clip of Leon Panetta telling Congress that the administration doesn’t think it needs to ask for Congressional approval to send troops into conflict – just that of the United Nations and/or NATO.

Hopefully BO’s completely unconstitutional, unilateral declaration of amnesty for millions of illegal aliens will be, at least referenced in the campaign, although I doubt if Romney or the RNC has the guts to play this one out. And if all this isn’t enough, a Super Pac could just keep showing Obama, when he thought his mike was cold, lean over to Dimitry Medvedev, a Russian politician, and explain that after the election he will be more “flexible.” Medvedev then promises to deliver that message to Putin, the former head of the KGB.

Now you might ask, doesn’t the headline of this article indicate it is about how Obama can win the election?  I have indeed, painted a pretty gloomy picture of his re-elect possibilities and we can all pray that a majority of Americans still have the ability to smell a rat when the odor is so strong. However, we must remember that it doesn’t matter what a majority of Americans think when it comes to presidential elections.

These elections are uniquely determined by the votes of the Electoral College. All anyone needs to become President of the United States is to collect 270 electoral votes.  Just ask George Bush who became President although he was 500,000 popular votes behind Al Gore. Of course you could also ask John Kerry.  He knows that if a mere 60,000 votes had switched in Ohio; he would have been President even though Bush was ahead of him by almost four million popular votes!

So with this in mind, the Obama “Justice” department is working overtime to aid voter fraud everywhere possible. They are suing states that have passed voter id laws because the President’s re-elect strategy is based on winning those deep blue states and enough “battle ground” states to get to 270. His campaign believes that he has 196 electoral votes from 16 reliably blue states.  There are 13 swing states and if he takes just five – Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida he wins.   That’s why the push is on to get as many illegal alien and phantom votes tallied in the big cities in those swing states. These cities are usually Democrat strongholds with large immigrant and welfare recipient populations.  They are the folks BO’s team is counting on to tip the balance and deliver their state’s electoral votes to Obama.

Then, we will all be able to watch in horror at just how “flexible” our unconstrained dictator-in-chief will be in his second term. Then he will be able to finish work on the pledge he made when he leaned over  to a Russian politician to “thoroughly transform America.”

Obama Regime Blowing Millions of Dollars to Train Foreign Students to Fill Outsourced Positions

And suddenly this morning’s Weekly Address calling on the GOP to lower interest rates for student loans becomes twice the crock of fish than at first sight.

(Information Week) — Despite President Obama’s recent call for companies to “insource” jobs sent overseas, it turns out that the federal government itself is spending millions of dollars to train foreign students for employment in some booming career fields — including working in offshore call centers that serve U.S. businesses.

The program is called JEEP, which stands for Job Enabling English Proficiency. It’s available to college students in the Philippines through USAID. That’s the same agency that until a couple of years ago was spending millions of dollars in U.S. taxpayer money to train offshore IT workers in Sri Lanka — until I reported that inconvenient truth in this story. The ensuing uproar led to the Sri Lanka initiative’s termination.

A JEEP document published by USAID notes that the program “is classroom based, and focuses on the specialized English skills required by employers in areas such as: nursing and allied healthcare; maritime services; travel and tourism services; business process outsourcing (BPO), and other areas of international employment.” Students — there are about 23,000 in the Philippines currently enrolled — commit to undertake 400 hours of training during two years of study.

It’s the BPO (another name for call center operations) part of the curriculum that’s troubling for U.S. offshoring opponents. When I informed Congressman Tim Bishop (D-New York) about the program on Tuesday, he called it “surprising and distressing.” Bishop, who was instrumental in getting USAID to end its Sri Lanka program, recently introduced a bill that would make companies that outsource call centers ineligible for government contracts.

The U.S. “has lost five hundred thousand call center jobs in the last five years,” Bishop noted during a phone interview.
