Washington, DC – The Obama agents, through the DHS and other assorted colluders, are plotting a major ‘Reichstag’ event to generate racial riots and produce the justification for martial law, delaying the November 2012 elections, possibly indefinitely, a DHS whistleblower informed the Canada Free Press on Tuesday.

The ‘Reichstag Event’ would take the form of a staged assassination attempt against Barack Obama, “carefully choreographed” and manufactured by Obama operatives. It would subsequently be blamed on “white supremacists” and used to enrage the black community to rioting and looting, the DHS source warned.

The Obama administration would then use the violence and chaos they created as justification for the imposition of martial law in major urban cities in America, the creation of DHS checkpoints, restriction of travel, and the indefinite delay of the November 2012 elections.

The Reichstag event refers to a fire started during Hitler’s rise to power. The fire allowed him to grab emergency powers and murder his opposition. Historians have long believed that Hitler started the fire himself, while he blamed it on the Communists.

The anonymous whistleblower elaborated on how the Obama administration is using the Occupy movement, labor unions, and other assorted subversive groups to create massive chaos within the nation.

“Using untracked campaign funds, they are paying people to infiltrate the various movements to cause physical destruction of property and disrupt commerce. That began last year, but has increased ten-fold already this year,” the DHS source shared.

“Obama is using some high profile people as pawns to foment the revolution. I heard several times through very credible sources that [Louis] Farrakhan is on the CIA payroll. Other have been named as well, but I’m not prepared to identify them yet. Farrakhan is to coordinate the Blacks and the Muslims to prepare for riots this summer, using any means necessary.”

The recent revelations appeared to complement warnings given by other government insiders, who alleged that Jeremiah Wright, Van Jones, Al Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson were all agent provocateurs whose mission was to inflame racial tensions and spark open conflict in the streets of America.

According to the DHS source, a global economic collapse is coming, which the Obama administration is well aware of. They wish to build a system of global governance from the ashes of the previous financial system. In order for this mission to be completed, the Obama administration needs more time at the helm of power. Their reasons for concern are justified; as recently as May 8, influential political prognosticator Dick Morris predicted a Romney landslide if the election were held today.

The shocking news also seemed to confirm recent actions taken by the DHS, such as their purchase of 450 million rounds of ammunition and their recent BlackHawk helicopters operation in Chicago, which looked frighteningly similar to a civil unrest exercise, but was described as “routine training”.

The concept of a staged assassination attempt against Barack Obama is not new as well and was first voiced by a knowledgeable White House insider known only as “WHI”.

Ulsterman:  So what is it?  Pull what off?

Insider:  A manufactured threat against the President of the United States.  Something easily digested by the media and the American public.  Not a real threat – something totally of their own making. They will use it if they need to – got no doubt whatsoever about that.  Jarrett has approved the idea…and did so a long time ago.  There were whispers of it during the 2008 campaign.  McCain was so god-awful it never reached a serious consideration…but the plan was discussed.  If needed – they were willing to go that route.  It would be the ultimate use of the race card in the history of American politics.  And…it would likely work if they got away with it.

Ulsterman:  They would go that far? Risk something like that?

Insider:  You don’t need to ask that question.  Not after what we’ve discussed this past year.  Not after what I’ve told you has proven out over and over again.  So stop asking the fu—ing question.  You need to accept the fact…if you haven’t done so yet – you need to accept the fact these people are playing for keeps.  I told you – how many times?  How many times have I said it?  These are not Democrats.  These folks are something else entirely.  And they are willing to push the country – all of us, right against the fu—ing wall.  Hard.  I’m pushing back.  Others are too.  All of this is part of that effort.  A small part, but an important one.

As with the Occupy movement, it appears as if the Obama administration executed a test-run of the plot, with a “shot being fired” at the White House. This would lend credibility when they choreographed the attempt for the masses.

As early as August 2011, WHI also predicted race riots coming in the summer of 2012. The use of the Trayvon Martin death and the subsequent incitements to violence by the media, Obama operatives, and useful idiots, followed by the subsequent threats by the NBPP of a coming “race war” appear to have been merely a sign of what’s to come.

Middle-class American citizens were shocked and appalled at the allegations, with many hoping they were not true. Some said they had harbored similar suspicions for quite some time, due to the many anomalies and inaccuracies emanating from the current operatives inhabiting the White House.

The DHS source claimed that campaign funds were being directly used to fund the incitements to violence and rioting that the Obama administration was seeking to spark.

“Using untracked campaign funds, they are paying people to infiltrate the various movements to cause physical destruction of property and disrupt commerce. That began last year, but has increased ten-fold already this year,” stated this source.

“He added that they are using some lower level DHS agents to make the payments under the context of tracking subversives, but they are the unwitting subversives.”

The use of campaign funds, funneled through DHS agents to street-level agitators for the purpose of fomenting violence, would be extremely legally questionable, if not outright illegal, certain legal experts shared.

Intelligence officials said that if the allegations were true, the degree to which extremists had penetrated the upper echelons of the American government, finance, and security structure was unparalleled.

“Let’s just say that we are not taking these accusations lightly,” one official remarked on condition of anonymity. “Certain figures will be placed under a microscope, along with their associates.”

Valerie Jarrett, the shadowy figure always at Obama’s side, has been accused by some of “manipulating” or “controlling’ the President. Just who does she work for? Who does she take orders from?

The possibility that Barack Obama’s operatives, under the direction of Valerie Jarrett, was actively involved in the facilitation of street violence and mob chaos disturbed citizens, with many deeming it unpatriotic, subversive, and possibly seditious.

“Isn’t this why HUAC was created?”, one middle-class citizen angrily questioned. “Congress must re-instate HUAC, hold hearings, and find out if there is any truth to this.”

The intensely close co-ordination of seemingly separate entities confirmed the suspicions of many that communist agents had infiltrated major institutions, organizations, and trade unions, and were working together to sabotage America.

Who is Valerie Jarrett?

“Their apparatus can be seen as a type of octupus, having many tentacles,” one intelligence source confided on condition of anonymity. “Occupy is one tentacle, the unions are another, the Black Panthers are another, the radical black/islamic supremacists(Wright, Farrakhan, Van Jones, Sharpton) are another, DHS and its’ umbrella agencies are another, the mainstream press is another,” the source explained. “These tentacles are all working together, seemingly separate, but eventually they are controlled by the same small group of people. They receive their directives and marching orders and mindlessly execute them.”

The intelligence official predicted that in the very near future, all of the seemingly separate entities would be clearly exposed as working together, co-ordinating their activities together, and driving for the same goal – the destruction of America as a constitutional republic, the destruction of its capitalist system, and the dethroning of the U.S. as a superpower.

When Arizona’s state senate passed SB (Senate Bill) 1070i, the Obama administration immediately sued and enjoined the state from enforcing parts of the bill.  As the issue is argued before the Supreme Court, political questions remain: why did President Obama sue Arizona so quickly, and could the legal action have been politically motivated?

Clues to the politics of the issue are revealed by what Obama and other Washington Democrats have said regarding their prime mission during Obama’s first term.  On October 19, 2011, Senate leader Harry Reid stated: “It’s very clear that private-sector jobs have been doing just fine[;] it’s the public sector where we’ve lost huge numbers[.]”  The significance of this statement is that it was made by the Senate majority leader at a time when the private sector was suffering the highest unemployment rate in many decades.  A week before Reid’s comments, Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. suggested that we need $204 billion to bail out cities and states and that this task is so important that the president should declare a national emergency.  President Obama has said we need to “save” teacher jobs.

Clearly, these statements show that the focus of the Obama administration and his party is on public-sector jobs, and he has selected teachers’ jobs as a high priority.

What does Arizona’s immigration law have to do with teachers’ jobs?  The answer to this question should connect the Democrats’ mission statements to the Supreme Court challenge.  As it turns out, the answers are found in the traditional sources: campaign contributions and political power.

In Illinois, the state where Obama once served in the state Senate, the two teachers’ unions are the largest contributors to Democrats running for state offices.  In 2005-06, teacher unions contributed $4.5 million, in 2007-8 $2.95 million — more than any other donorsii.  On the national level, of the ten largest all-time campaign donors, four are in the public sector, and the majority of their money goes to the Democratic Partyiii; AFCSME gives only one percent of its campaign donations to Republicansiv.  The Democratic Party heavily depends on public-sector union campaign contributions at the local, state, and national levels.

The next step, the connection between teachers’ unions and illegal immigrants, is that illegal immigrants are essential to the survival of public-sector jobs in cities such as Chicago.  And since Obama and his education secretary Arne Duncan are both from Chicago, it’s useful to see how Chicago’s teachers’ unions stand to benefit from illegal immigration.

The benefit is simple and direct: just as Democrats get campaign money from the teacher unions, teachers get their money based on the number of students enrolled at their schools.  Each Chicago public student brings $15,800v from local, state, and federal sources.  Therein lies the connection: in older industrial cities such as Chicago, the only portion of the student body that is increasing is Hispanicvi.  The enrollment of white, African-American, and Asian students has been declining for decades.

Right now the only hope Chicago teachers have of hanging onto their jobs — and the only hope Democrats have of receiving teacher campaign money — is to pander to Hispanic students.  A University of Chicago study found that most white children born in the city leave within five years, while Hispanic children stayvii.  As a result, schools are closing down in black and white neighborhoods, and new schools are being built only in Hispanic neighborhoods.  This is why Hispanics are being carefully funneled into Hispanic supermajority neighborhoods, a neat political tactic enabled by the Voting Rights Act.  This legal demographic tool enables city wards to be gerrymandered into ethnic supermajorities to achieve the goal of maintaining “representation” for the minorities.

Logistical support for this population is provided through the matricula consular card and other benefitsviii.  These benefits help keep the Hispanic population growing: Mexican families have an average of 3.5ix children, about twice as many as white taxpayers, and more than any other Hispanic group.  In Chicago, each illegal immigrant Mexican family brings $69,000 to public-sector job holders; other illegal immigrant ethnicities, $59,000x.  So if one were to  maximize income from children, one would choose Hispanics, and Mexicans specifically, to bring in the most money to public-sector jobholders.

Nationally, figures indicating the growth of Hispanic students are even more stunning.  Since Chicago’s Sanctuary Policy started in 1985,  now most Hispanics of school age are born in the U.S.: while Hispanics are 14% of the U.S. population, one-fourth of all newborns in the U.S. are Hispanic, and one-fifth of allschool-age children are Hispanicxi.  In California, one-half of the students are Hispanic; in Chicago, 44%.  Only 8.8% of Chicago public-school students are white.  So the resource-maximizer of education in the big Democrat-run cities is not better school curricula or longer class days, but rather larger Hispanic populations.  Legal immigration and births could never provide enough new students to keep the schools going.

Maintaining voter rolls and political power are also primary reasons for illegal immigration: Illinois has 490, 000 illegal immigrants, enough to save one congressional seatxii.  Congressional district populations do not need citizens, only “residents,” to support a representative.

A 1982 investigation by U.S. Attorney Daniel Webb found that 80,000 illegal aliens were registered to vote in Chicagoxiii.  From 1990 to 2000, the number of Hispanics of voting age in Cook County, IL increased 54% to 689,383xiv.

So illegal immigration is the strategy Democrats have enabled, through administrative corruption, to keep classrooms full, campaign money flowing, and congressional seats maintained.

The flow of illegal immigrants to Chicago is also encouraged by the city’s Sanctuary Policy, a benefit-enabling policy first passed in 1985xv.  This act encourages the flow of illegal immigrants to the city.  Not all illegal immigrants are Hispanic  — Chicago also has a sizable population of Polish and other Eastern European illegal immigrants.  They arrive legally and become illegal only when they overstay their visas.  The vast majority of those arriving into Arizona are, however, Hispanic.

Think of illegal immigration as a type of make-work program, like the WPA in the 1930s.  Only, instead of bringing workers into national forests to carve hiking paths, illegal immigrants are being encouraged and supported to go to metro areas where they keep teachers, social workers, school lunch vendors, and politicians in their public-sector jobs.  Without people, people programs and politicians cannot exist.  To paraphrase Eisenhower, a vast “illegal immigrant-entitlement complex” has been created.  Its goal is to support the public-jobs infrastructure created by the Great Society programs.

For these reasons, Obama cannot stand by and allow any state, particularly Arizona — which serves as an entryway for illegal immigrants — to interfere with the flow of immigrants into the U.S. and Democrat-controlled cities.

‘I LOVE GOING TO COURT’: SHERIFF JOE ARPAIO FIERCELY DEFIANT IN FIRST INTERVIEW SINCE JUSTICE SUIT

“They caught the wrong Sheriff on this matter.”

Those seven words should have sent the message loud and clear to the Obama administration that they are in for a tough, and potentially embarrassing fight against Arizona’s famously tough Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Arpaio, who has attained the status of folk hero among the pro-border enforcement crowd, appeared on the Mike Broomhead show today in his first interview since being officially served with a suit by the Obama administration’s Justice Department.

Arpario was, predictably, entirely un-intimidated, condescendingly remarking that “it’s a political year” as his explanation for why the administration was choosing to target him at this particular moment. His braggadocio only increased from there, as Arpaio crowed, “Take me to Court! I love going to Court!”

Broomhead noted that even Arpaio’s detractors were asking for proof of the accusations against him. Arpaio responded that nothing had come out because there was no proof, and in point of fact, he was negotiating.

“It’s the election year. Go after the Sheriff. All these local activists like Will Cox have been ganging up with the ACLU and the Justice Department hoping that I’ll resign,” Arpaio scoffed. “But I’m not going to resign.”

Broomhead did ask Arpaio how much longer he thought he’d be effective at his job. Arpaio didn’t answer, but said there was no chance he’d resign for “personal reasons” no matter how much the activists arrayed against him wanted him to.

“They can do all they want with all those demonstrators calling me a Nazi, Hitler, every name in the book, they’re worried because I say one word, and they go crazy,” he said. “It’s all a game plan to get rid of this Sheriff.”

Arpaio brushed off accusations about his methods, saying his opponents just didn’t like that he was doing a good job enforcing the illegal immigration laws. “They don’t like it. They don‘t like this high profile Sheriff that’s not gonna back down,” he said.

And based on the rest of the interview, Arpaio can be trusted to stick to his word on that. From sneering about the “beer summit” to offering to take on President Obama on the basketball court, Arpaio showed complete, unflappable calm. This fight is not likely to go well for the White House.

China, Russia Team Up at Sea

Don’t freak out. But the Russian and Chinese militaries just joined forces — at least for a week, for a major exercise at sea. At least two dozen warships from both nations spent the last week conducting anti-piracy and “joint escort” operations, search and rescue and “firing hundreds of shells at surface, underwater and air targets,” according to local press reports.

The cooperation between Russia and China’s sailors could be a foreboding sign for the U.S. Navy, which is turning its sights to the Pacific. Or it could be a relatively isolated event — a very temporary alliance between two second-tier powers that still have all sorts of reasons to mistrust one another. And that’s if the ships are even capable of holding up over the stress of prolonged exposure at sea.

The exercise, variously named Naval Interaction or Maritime Cooperation 2012, took place in the Yellow Sea near the eastern Chinese coastal city of Qindao. On the Chinese side: two submarines and 16 surface warships, among them destroyers like the DDG-112 Harbin and five frigates like theChzhoushan and Suyzhow, among auxiliary and support vessels. On the Russian side: the Pacific Fleet flagship cruiser Varyag (not to be confused with a defenseless ex-Russian aircraft carrier that was sold to China and renamed the Shi Lang) along with destroyers Admiral Vinogradov, Marshal Shaposhnikovand the Admiral Tributs.

That’s a considerable amount of firepower. But it’s peanuts compared to the 2005 “Peace Mission” exercise — the first time Russia and China ever held a joint military exercise at sea. That one included five times as many ships, plus scary force-projecting amphibious assault operations. This exercise involves more anti-submarine operations, which are notable on their own, particularly for the U.S. Navy. But it’s difficult to compare the two.

 

“To date China has not used its navy the way we think of it,” Jim Holmes, an associate professor of strategy at the Navy War College, tells Danger Room. “In a sense the U.S. Navy is at sea, and at war, all the time. The only real difference between wartime and peacetime conditions is whether live or exercise rounds come out of the barrel when we fire our weapons during exercises.”

China is different. Sure, they’ve built a whole slew of new “ship-killer” missile boats and diesel-powered submarines.  But there’s a big difference between building a Navy — and using it. “If China wants to be a serious naval power,” Holmes adds, “it has to take ships to sea, both to test out its shiny new hardware and to let PLA Navy mariners hone their skills and build up some esprit de corps.”

What’s undeniable are the short-term and provocative political implications. The exercises also take place with heightened anxiety over a North Korea rocket test — which dunked into the Yellow Sea earlier this month — and a possible impending nuclear test. Joint U.S. and South Korean exercises, and the U.S. sending the George Washington into that same Yellow Sea, raised hackles in Beijing. Now these joint operations might be tit-for-tat.

“This exercise is a political message,” e-mails Abe Denmark, with the National Bureau of Asian Research. “China in recent years has expressed disapproval of [U.S.-South Korean] joint exercises in the Yellow Sea, especially those that involve an aircraft carrier. Chinese officials object to the proximity of American air and naval power to their economic and political centers, and want to make the case (especially to Seoul) that these exercises are uncomfortable when they’re just off your shores.”

Of course, these are shores that the U.S. Navy wants to spend more time around. The President and the Pentagon have declared that American forces are pivoting to the Pacific, in part to counter a rising China. That job could get a lot tougher, if Beijing and Moscow start to collaborate more often.

For the moment, though, that doesn’t seem to be happening. “In political terms, I don’t see this exercise as a harbinger of things to come in the Western Pacific,” says Holmes. “It’s a lot easier to list things keeping Beijing and Moscow apart than it is to list things tending to unite them in some sort of seagoing entente or alliance.”

From the very beginning of Obama-Soetoro’s illegal occupancy of the once-revered and respected office of President of the United States of America, he and his unindicted co-conspirators have been feverishly working to “fundamentally change” America. As expected by those who paid attention and actually read Mein Kamph…er…Dreams From My Father and the facts known about Obama-Soetoro’s philosophical background, the changes have all been aimed at turning America into a Soviet-style dictatorship. And as we get closer to the 2012 elections, the pace of selling out America is increasing significantly.

“Mr. Obama told the French (the French!) that America ‘has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive’ toward Europe.

In Prague, he said America has ‘a moral responsibility to act’ on arms control because only the U.S. had ‘used a nuclear weapon.’

In London, he said that decisions about the world financial system were no longer made by ‘just Roosevelt and Churchill sitting in a room with a brandy’—as if that were a bad thing.

And in Latin America, he said the U.S. had not ‘pursued and sustained engagement with our neighbors’ because we ‘failed to see that our own progress is tied directly to progress throughout the Americas.’” (Wall Street Journal) Americans, I sincerely hope, will remember Obama-Soetoro’s disgraceful performances on what became known as his Apologize for America Tour. Who can forget the picture of his scrawny backside, as he bowed before the King of Saudi Arabia? Or his groveling before Muslims in Egypt, claiming that America is not a Christian nation? Karl Rove summed much of it up nicely in a Wall Street Journal article:

He had Hilary Clinton apologize to the Russians, with her “reset” button nonsense, a high school gesture that she managed to botch. However, Obama-Soetoro, die-hard (though knee-jerk) Marxist that he is, has never given up pandering to Vladimir Putin, whom many suspect is still the hard-line Communist he was when he was a Lt. Colonel in the KGB, the Soviet secret police. The scrapping of the plan to install missile defenses in Poland and the Czech Republic was clearly a kowtowing move, aimed at impressing Moscow. This was followed by the START treaty, which many experts say was a big step in Obama-Soetoro’s unilateral denuclearization scheme that gave Russia a significant advantage over the U.S., especially in tactical nuclear weapons.

And as the traitorous cherry on top of the sell-out sundae, like a teen-age boy trying to act like a big shot, B. Hussein recently let slip to the Russians that after “my next election,” he will have more “flexibility” regarding America’s unilateral disarmament.

Also recently, Barry the Red has secretly arranged to give seven Alaskan islands, one the size of Rhode Island and Delaware combined, and rights to billions of barrels of oil, to his Russian comrades. The U.S., over the objections of the State of Alaska, drew the line giving Russia the islands as part of a supposed maritime boundary agreement. This goes nicely with Obama-Soetoro’s and Leon Panetta’s support for the UN’s Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) and the United Nations Convention on Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), both of which cede control of the oceans, including America’s territorial waters, to the UN. Rhetorical question: Do you think the UN will allow us to drill for any oil or gas in these waters?

While the current Marxist administration in Washington is not responsible for coming up with the idea, it has been moving right along on the furtherance of a North American Union, too. Surrender Secretary, Leon Panetta, was just up in Canada to discuss over-border military co-operation with Mexico and Canada. And the Fraud in the White House, himself, just met with the leaders of Mexico and Canada at the White House.

This one, however, didn’t go so well for The Smartest Man in the Room. Seems the Mexicans are not pleased with Obama-Soetoro’s and Eric holder’s gun-running scheme – Fast and Furious – that led to the smuggling by violent drug cartels of thousands of guns into Mexico, nor are the Canadians pleased or impressed by Obama-Soetoro’s killing of the Keystone Pipeline.

It goes without saying that the Ministry of Propaganda, aka the “mainstream” media, has done its best to cover up or spin all this. For instance, how many know that back in February, several U.S. “professors” from universities in New York attended a conference in Tehran, Iran, to discuss, of all things, the Occupy Wall Street Movement? Seems this “movement,” which Obama-Soetoro, the Democrat Party, and Academia support, is of great interest to the Muslims who see America as the Enemy, the Great Satan (Weekly Standard).

Space limits this to a partial list, but there is a clear, undeniable pattern here, of selling out America and We, the People, to our enemies. Please, keep this in mind when you vote in November.

How Obama Plans to Win

His approval rating is in the toilet.  His re-elect numbers are abysmal for an incumbent President at this point in his term. He has stated that he is giving up on white, working class Americans. The economy, regardless of how he tries to talk it up, is lethargic at best. His “foreign policy” consists of repeating the line “ (fill in name of country) is one of our best allies and punches above its weight.”  Independents are deserting him in droves.  Obamacare is still unpopular and his numbers will fall even farther after it is declared unconstitutional.

Of course the Obama attack machine (campaign and left wing media) will immediately go to town after the Supreme Court announces its decision and try to whip up the base with frightening rants about the end of Roe v Wade being just one vote away.  Even if this ploy works, independents will not be pulled over to his side in big enough numbers to stop the slide. The Catholic Church has taken off the gloves over BO’s attempt to force them to provide insurance that includes coverage for abortion inducing drugs.  They are attacking him from the pulpit and with a television commercial that is as hard hitting as anything produced by James Carville.

Romney can capitalize on this and hopefully remember that the election is about one thing and one thing only – Obama. He can fashion a campaign to remind Americans of BO’s Operation Fast and Furious, the policy of selling automatic weapons to the Mexican drug cartels. Romney can play the President’s laudatory comments about the Occupy Movement while showing its members defecating on police cars.

Oh yeah, Romney can also show the clip of Leon Panetta telling Congress that the administration doesn’t think it needs to ask for Congressional approval to send troops into conflict – just that of the United Nations and/or NATO.

Hopefully BO’s completely unconstitutional, unilateral declaration of amnesty for millions of illegal aliens will be, at least referenced in the campaign, although I doubt if Romney or the RNC has the guts to play this one out. And if all this isn’t enough, a Super Pac could just keep showing Obama, when he thought his mike was cold, lean over to Dimitry Medvedev, a Russian politician, and explain that after the election he will be more “flexible.” Medvedev then promises to deliver that message to Putin, the former head of the KGB.

Now you might ask, doesn’t the headline of this article indicate it is about how Obama can win the election?  I have indeed, painted a pretty gloomy picture of his re-elect possibilities and we can all pray that a majority of Americans still have the ability to smell a rat when the odor is so strong. However, we must remember that it doesn’t matter what a majority of Americans think when it comes to presidential elections.

These elections are uniquely determined by the votes of the Electoral College. All anyone needs to become President of the United States is to collect 270 electoral votes.  Just ask George Bush who became President although he was 500,000 popular votes behind Al Gore. Of course you could also ask John Kerry.  He knows that if a mere 60,000 votes had switched in Ohio; he would have been President even though Bush was ahead of him by almost four million popular votes!

So with this in mind, the Obama “Justice” department is working overtime to aid voter fraud everywhere possible. They are suing states that have passed voter id laws because the President’s re-elect strategy is based on winning those deep blue states and enough “battle ground” states to get to 270. His campaign believes that he has 196 electoral votes from 16 reliably blue states.  There are 13 swing states and if he takes just five – Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida he wins.   That’s why the push is on to get as many illegal alien and phantom votes tallied in the big cities in those swing states. These cities are usually Democrat strongholds with large immigrant and welfare recipient populations.  They are the folks BO’s team is counting on to tip the balance and deliver their state’s electoral votes to Obama.

Then, we will all be able to watch in horror at just how “flexible” our unconstrained dictator-in-chief will be in his second term. Then he will be able to finish work on the pledge he made when he leaned over  to a Russian politician to “thoroughly transform America.”

Talk about a “War on Women”: this past week, the White House welcomed members of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, the radical Islamist organization whose Freedom and Justice Party won the largest number of seats in that country’s parliamentary elections and which may take the Egyptian presidency as well.

The Brotherhood remains staunchly anti-American, anti-Israeli, anti-Christian, anti-Jew — and anti-woman. In an interview posted today by Kerry Picket of the Washington Times, a member of the Brotherhood’s delegation confirmed that sharia, or Islamic law, would guide all lawmaking in Egypt under his party’s rule.

Since its origins in Egypt in the 1950, the Muslim Brotherhood has established branches throughout the Middle East, and contacts in the West as well. It has carried out and supported countless acts of terror and murder, and spread the radical Islamist ideology that sustains public support for terrorism.

Al Qaeda itself was inspired by the Muslim Brotherhood and its leaders. The current leader of Al Qaeda, Ayman al-Zawahiri, began his terrorist career in Egypt with the Muslim Brotherhood. There are alarming connections between the party taking over in Egypt  and the 9/11 attacks in New York and Washington, D.C.

Yet President Barack Obama has decided that the United States should “engage” the Brotherhood, apparently believing that doing so will deter the Brotherhood from its radical course, and grant the United States a voice in the new Egyptian government–as it once had in the dictatorial regime of ousted president Hosni Mubarak, the man Obama abandoned during the so-called Arab Spring. This wasn’t a spur-of-the-moment decision; Obama was always pro-Muslim Brotherhood, going out of his way in February 2009 to finagle invitations for them to his Cairo speech.

Obama clearly has a soft spot for the Brotherhood. When Iranians took to the streets in 2009 and nearly overthrew their government, President Obama remained on the sidelines, effectively protecting the regime. When it came to the Muslim Brotherhood, however, the Obama administration didn’t hesitate in intervening in Egypt’s internal power struggle, even though there is no sign that American intervention would be any more popular in Egypt than it is in Iran.

Today, President Obama addressed a women’s forum at the White House; later this month, he will convene a “National Women’s Issues Conference” — all an attempt to distract from his economic failures, and retain wavering supporters through a divide-and-rule strategy that he hopes will carry him through the November election.

Obama and the Democrats have fabricated a Republican “war on women” — an incredible and effective political reversal, considering Obama’s own attempt to force religious institutions to provide abortion drugs and contraceptives to employees. However, Obama has made no mention of the actual war on women waged every day and night by the Brotherhood.

The Obama administration does not need to “engage” the Brotherhood. It has other means of influence — not least of which is the generous foreign aid Egypt receives from the U.S. each year.

But President Obama’s foreign policy seems driven by the desire to be loved by America’s rivals in the Islamic world and elsewhere. This is doomed to fail — and worse, to harm American interests in egregious fashion. As Machiavelli once observed, it “is much safer to be feared than loved, when, of the two, either must be dispensed with.” Appeasement has a long and ignominious history of catastrophe.

The Brotherhood has projected a pragmatic image, both to Egyptians and the outside world, as it has cunningly taken advantage of Egypt’s post-Mubarak transition. Yet it ultimately responds to a religious hierarchy and a core constituency that is willing to sacrifice foreign alliances and bread-and-butter concerns to ideological priorities.

In the 2008 election, Gov. Sarah Palin was attacked repeatedly by the left and the mainstream media for accusing Obama of “palling around with terrorists.” It turns out that Palin’s description was, if anything, understating the case — Obama doesn’t only pal around with terrorists, he actively supports them in an attempt to exalt himself and humble the United States.

4 Indiana Dems charged with election fraud in 2008

Felony charges related to election fraud have touched the 2008 race for the highest office in the land.

Prosecutors in South Bend, Ind., filed charges Monday against four St. Joseph County Democratic officials and deputies as part of a multiple-felony case involving the alleged forging of Democratic presidential primary petitions in the 2008 election, which put then-candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clintonon the Indiana ballot.

The officials are accused of taking part in a scheme to fake signatures and names on the primary petitions needed to run for president. Court papers say the plan was hatched by local Democratic Party officials inside the local party headquarters.

Among those charged is the former long-time chairman of the St. Joseph County Democratic Party, Butch Morgan, who allegedly ordered the forgeries. He was forced to resign when the allegations were first made public last October, even though his lawyer, Shaw Friedman, told Fox News at the time that Morgan did not do anything wrong.

The St. Joseph County Board of Voter Registration’s Democratic board member, Pam Brunette, Board of Voter Registration worker Beverly Shelton and Democratic volunteer and former board worker Dustin Blythe also face charges.

According to affidavits, St. Joseph County Voter Registration Office worker Lucas Burkett told investigators that he was part of the plan that started in January 2008 “to forge signatures on presidential candidate petitions instead of collecting actual signatures from citizens.”

The documents state that Burkett told investigators that “he was heavily involved in St. Joseph County political activities with the local Democratic party,” and that “he had, in fact, personally forged several such signatures,” and had attended meetings at the local Democratic party headquarters, where it was agreed to forge the petitions. Morgan, the County Democratic Chairman, allegedly “instructed Mr. Burkett, Pamela Brunette, Beverly Shelton, and Dustin Blythe to forge ballot petitions for presidential candidates,” and that “all of them agreed to follow these instructions” by copying names and signatures from old election petitions.

According to affidavits, Burkett told investigators it was his job to “forge petitions for candidate Barack Obama,” Shelton “was assigned to forge petitions for candidate Hillary Clinton” and Blythe “was assigned to forge petitions for candidate John Edwards.” When Edwards dropped out of the race at the end of January 2008 and Burkett refused to continue the forgeries, Morgan allegedly ordered Blythe to then forge petitions for Barack Obama.

Indiana State Police investigators identified a total of 22 petitions that appeared to be faked, yet sailed through the Voter Registration Board as legitimate documents. The signature of the board’s Republican supervisor, Linda Silcott, which is required for legal certification, appeared to be rubber stamped on the documents. She told investigators that she did not remember signing or authorizing her rubber stamp to be used.

Silcott also told investigators that she recognized the handwriting on the alleged forged Obama petitions as that of Blythe’s.

The South Bend Tribune and independent political newsletter Howey Politics Indiana have reported that a handwriting analyst concluded last fall that Blythe’s handwriting matched some of the alleged Obama fakes. When Fox News caught up to Blythe as he left the Voter Registration Board last November and asked him if he forged any signatures or faked any petitions, he repeatedly replied, “I don’t have anything to say.”

The case raises the possibility that the president’s campaign and that of Clinton’s, could have been legally challenged in Indiana if the alleged forgeries were discovered during the race.

Under state law, presidential candidates need to qualify with 500 signatures from each of Indiana’s nine congressional districts. Indiana elections officials say that in St. Joseph County, which is the 2nd Congressional District, the Obama campaign qualified with 534 signatures; Clinton’s camp had 704.

But the signatures, which were certified by the elections board, were never challenged. If the number of legitimate signatures for Obama or Clinton fell below the legal requirement of 500, they could have been bounced from the state ballot. Reports have previously put the number of phony signatures for both candidates at about 150, but state investigators plucked names from the petitions at random and cited only 20 individual alleged forgeries as part of their case. They say their investigation of the petitions continues.

Multiple voters, including Indiana’s former Democratic Gov. Joe Kernan, told Fox News that their names and signatures were phonies.

“That’s not my signature,” Charity Rorie told Fox News as she sat in her kitchen in Mishawaka, Ind.. The mother of four was stunned that her name and signature, and those of her husband, appeared on one of the Obama petitions. She said they “absolutely” were fakes and was troubled that personal details such as their address and birthdays were also included.

“It was shocking,” she said. “Why did they do that, and where did they get it from?”

“I did not sign for Barack Obama,” Democratic voter Robert Hunter told Fox News as he stared at the Obama petition that included his name and purported signature supporting the candidate. While he observed that the scrawl looked “very close” to his real one, it was not.

“I always put ‘Junior’ after my name, every time… there’s no ‘Junior’ there,” Hunter told us. “I don’t like anybody using my name for anything other than myself.”

“It’s scary,” Charity said. “A lot of people have already lost faith in politics and the realm of politics and that solidifies our worries and concerns.”

As for Burkett, a 26-year-old lifelong Democrat, “he is the whistle-blower in this,” his lawyer, Andrew B. Jones, told Fox News.

“Lucas really is the hero in this situation. He is someone who stood up for good government, and has cooperated with the state police and will continue to do so.”

William Blaine Richardson III or George Zimmerman: Who is the White Hispanic?

During the 2008 Democratic presidential primary, Barack Obama won the votes of African-Americans and affluent whites by a landslide.  Hillary Clinton, however, had the edge working class whites and Hispanic voters early on.  Clinton stayed alive on Super Tuesday by winning the Hispanic vote by 2-1, giving her victories in California, New York, and New Jersey.  Obama’s campaign scored a major victory when New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson endorsed him in late March.

The New York Times reported, “As the nation’s only Hispanic governor, Mr. Richardson could become a champion for Mr. Obama among Hispanic voters, who have been an important voting bloc for Mrs. Clinton in the primaries thus far.”

Richardson was born William Blaine Richardson III.  He attended prep school at Middlesex, known for educating the WASP elite in New England.  His paternal grandfather was a WASP, and his paternal grandmother is Mexican.  His maternal grandfather is from Northern Spain, and his maternal grandmother is Mexican.  If anyone is a “white Hispanic,” it is William Blaine Richardson III.

While occasional media profiles of Richardson mention his background, he is always described as Hispanic or Latino.  They never question whether he is really Hispanic or explain how “complicated” classifying Latinos is, much less describe him as a “white Hispanic.”

It is worth contrasting the media’s treatment of Richardson’s ethnicity with their treatment Trayvon Martin shooter George Zimmerman, whose father is white and mother is Peruvian.

The media almost initially called Zimmerman white, and it fit into their narrative of white racism holding down Hispanics.  However, after Zimmerman’s father sent a letter to the Orlando Sentinel (and major conservative news sites like Breitbart.com and Drudge Report linked to the letter), they stopped referring to Zimmerman as white.  The New York Times and Reuters began referring to him as a “white Hispanic.”  Virtually the rest of the media followed suit.  If you put “white Hispanic” and “Zimmerman” into a Google News search, over 1,200 stories pop up.  If you put in “white Hispanic” excluding the word “Zimmerman,” there are about 50 stories, but a closer look shows that every single one of them is indirectly referring to Zimmerman, or else the two words are next to each other as a coincidence (e.g., “Asian, white, Hispanic, or African American.”)

The New York Times used the phrase “white Hispanic” only five times before Zimmerman, and never to describe someone who is half-Hispanic and half-white.  The Times‘ standards editor Phil Corbett defends their use of the term by noting, “There are no absolute, clear-cut rules on this.  People often treat white, black and Hispanic as three parallel categories, but it’s not always that simple.”

This is true.  Hispanic is a linguistic category, to describe people who come from Spanish-speaking countries.  However, groups like The National Council of La Raza (the Race) have turned it into a ethno-racial group, while lobbying Hispanics to receive racial preferences in education, hiring, and government contracts.  In practical terms, this usually means someone who is of mixed Spanish and Southern Amerindian descent.  George Zimmerman certainly looks like that.  As Ann Coulter blithely put it, “[n]ot being a race-obsessed liberal, I don’t particularly care, but it’s indisputable that Zimmerman is brown. I saw his face carved on the side of a Mayan temple in the Yucatan.”

Corbett acknowledged that the Times rarely uses the term “white Hispanic,” but the people at the Times say this is because “[o]ur guidelines say we mention race or ethnicity if and only if it’s pertinent to the story. Given that this is being investigated as a possible civil-rights case and has stirred protests in part because of concerns about racial elements, it seems clear that race and ethnicity are pertinent.”  This may justify mentioning Zimmerman’s race, but it does not explain why they decided to use “white Hispanic.”

In an attempt to try to downplay the fact that he is Hispanic, or even a “white Hispanic,” many media outlets are reporting stories on how “complicated” Zimmerman’s ethnicity is.  The Associated Press ran a story, “Florida shooter’s race a complicated matter.”  The reporter interviews an old neighbor of the Zimmermans who said she did not remember “seeing the family carrying out any traditional Peruvian cultural activities.”  Do you imagine William Blaine Richardson III engaging in many Mexican cultural activities while boarding at Middlesex?

The Washington Post reported in an article entitled “In Trayvon Martin shooting, background of George Zimmerman can confound” that “[l]ooking at Zimmerman’s photograph made Darren Soto, a Florida state legislator, think he might be Latino. But he just as easily might have been Italian or French, he thought.”

If I saw William Blaine Richardson III with no other data, I would never have guessed he is Hispanic.  The same can be said of Obama advisor and former La Raza VP Cecelia Munoz, chair of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Charlie Gonzales, and plenty of other Hispanic leaders whom I never hear referred to as “white Hispanics.”

Personally, I don’t care about whether not George Zimmerman is white or Hispanic.  However, so long as the New York Times and other media outlets run puff pieces about Hispanic honor students and sob stories about white racism against Hispanics, then they should not turn Hispanics who they believe are racistcriminals into whites.

Nancy Pelosi is facing accusations of cronyism after a solar energy project, which her brother-in-law has a stake in, landed a $737 million loan guarantee from the Department of Energy, despite the growing Solyndra scandal. The massive loan agreement is raising new concerns about the use of taxpayers’ money as vast sums are invested in technology similar to that of the doomed energy project. The investment has intensified the debate over the effectiveness of solar energy as a major power source. The SolarReserve project is backed by an energy investment fund where the Minority Leader’s brother-in-law Ronald Pelosi is second in command. PCG Clean Energy & Technology Fund (East) LLC is listed as one of the investors in the project that has been given the staggering loan, which even dwarfs that given to failed company Solyndra. Other investors include one of the major investors in Solyndra, which is run by one of the directors of Solyndra. Steve Mitchell, who served on the board of directors at the bankrupt energy company, is also managing director of Argonaut Private Equity, which has invested in the latest project. Since Solyndra has filed for bankruptcy has been asked to testify about the goings on at the firm by two members of the House and ‘asked to provide documents to Congress’.

The artist’s impression shows the incredible size of the giant solar power plant, which is being bankrolled by President Obama’s green jobs fund. Energy will be generated using concentrated solar power technology, in which a series of mirrors direct sunlight to a receiver at the centre of the plant. The ‘solar tower’ in the middle, which will be taller than the Washington Monument, is the first of its kind to be built. Stretching out across a plain in Tonopah, Nevada, the mind-bogglingly big project will generate enough electricity to power 43,000 homes. But the joint announcement by Energy Secretary Steven Chu comes just two days after the doomed Solyndra project, which cost the taxpayer $528 million from the same cash pot, was meant to be completed.

IS SOLAR ENERGY VIABLE?

The loan agreement comes as questions are raised about the effectiveness of solar power as a major energy source. Although solar energy plants are typically comparatively cheap to operate, they are extremely expensive to build. The proposed Nevada plant, which will provide power for 43,000 homes, is receiving a $737 million taxpayer loan, as well as private investment. The low amounts of power generated by solar energy plants has also been criticised. To replace existing energy sources with solar plants would take up large amounts of land and cost vast amounts of money.

The project approval came as part of $1 billion in new loans to green energy companies yesterday. Republican critics of the President Obama’s solar energy program have voiced their outrage at the new loans while the Solyndra scandal is still being investigated. They have raised concerns that the Department of Energy is rushing through the approval of loans before stimulus funds expire on Friday. While the departments insists the projects are being properly vetted, some lawmakers have written to express concern that they vast loans are not being adequately scrutinised. ‘The administration’s flagship project Solyndra is bankrupt and being investigated by the FBI, the promised jobs never materialised, and now the Department of Energy is preparing to rush out nearly $5 billion in loans in the final 48 hours before stimulus funds expire — that’s nearly $105 million every hour that must be finalised until the deadline,’ said Florida representative Cliff Stearns, who is chairman of the investigations subcommittee of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce. Tom Schatz, president of Washington-based advocacy group Citizens Against Government Waste, said: ‘It is time for a full audit of their activities, their management and their results. ‘Candidly, it might be time for the federal government to rethink the whole idea of loan programs.’ Energy Department spokesman Damien LaVera said the project, which was had extensive reviews that included scrutiny of the parent companies’ finances.

SOLYNDRA PLANT’S SPA SHOWERS AND DISNEY WHISTLING ROBOTS

The shocking scale of spending Solyndra  lavished on the factory it started building alongside Interstate 880 in Fremont, California, has been revealed. When it was completed at an estimated cost of $733 million, including proceeds from the company’s $535 million U.S. loan guarantee, it covered 300,000 sq ft, the equivalent of five football fields. It had robots that whistled Disney tunes, spa-like showers with liquid-crystal displays of the water temperature, and glass-walled conference rooms. John Pierce, 54, a San Jose resident who worked as a facilities manager at Solyndra, said: ’The new building is like the Taj Mahal.’ Designed to make far more solar panels than Solyndra got orders for, the site is now empty and U.S. taxpayers may be stuck with it. Solyndra filed for bankruptcy protection on September 6, leaving in its wake investigations by Congress and the FBI.

Mr Chu said the two projects will create about 900 construction jobs and at least 52 permanent jobs. He added: ‘If we want to be a player in the global clean energy race, we must continue to invest in innovative technologies that enable commercial-scale deployment of clean, renewable power like solar.’ The 110-megawatt Crescent Dunes project will use the sun’s heat to create steam that drives a turbine, SolarReserve, which is based in Santa Monica, California. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is a strong supporter of the Nevada project, which he says will help his state’s economy recover. Former Governor Jim Gibbons, a Republican, also supported the project. Mr Pelosi is one of several controversial figures set to benefit from the huge loan agreement. The loan approvals came just two days before the renewable energy loan program approved under the 2009 economic stimulus law is set to expire. At least seven projects worth more than $5 billion are also waiting to be approved. California-based solar panel maker Solyndra Inc went bankrupt after receiving its money and laid off 1,100 workers. The firm is now under investigation by the FBI. It was the first renewable-energy company to receive a loan guarantee under a stimulus-law program to encourage green energy and was frequently touted by the Obama administration as a model. President Barack Obama visited the company’s Silicon Valley headquarters last year, and Vice President Joe Biden spoke by satellite at its groundbreaking ceremony. Since then, the company’s failure has become an embarrassment for Obama. Nut Scott Crider, a spokesman for Sempra Generation, a Sempra Energy subsidiary that is developing the Arizona project, said its loan guarantee was not as risky as the Solyndra loan. Most important, the project has a 20-year agreement with Pacific Gas & Electric Co. to buy power supplied by the solar plant, he said Mr Crider claimed the purchase agreement is a key element of the project and will ‘provide assurance that there are sufficient revenues in place to support the loan guarantee’. A similar agreement is in place in Nevada. NV Energy, the state’s largest electric utility, has agreed to buy power from the Tonopah tower, which will connect to NV Energy’s power grid.
