Everything about Barack Obama is an enormous tapestry of lies woven from interlocking fictions spun from false narrative threads, wrapping and obscuring a dark, poisonous web of malice. An agenda concocted from the depths of Morhdor and wickedly implemented. Given, he is a robber baron politician, worthy of designer torches and gold-plated pitchforks, his deceptions are much worse than surface glitter. They go all the way back to his beginnings, when he was ‘selected’ for his political sainthood. An agenda to bring ‘change’ to America, do away with the Constitution and bring totalitarian rule to the US, enforced with an iron fist.

Barack’s story is coming unraveled, but is it by design or incompetence? Nothing is ever what it seems in this political game. First, Hannity and The Blaze came forward with an interview between Ed Klein and the Reverend Jeremiah Wright outing Obama on bribery and political corruption. More to come on that I’m sure. Read the book The Amateur: Barack Obama in The White House. Then Drudge and Breitbart splashed the political blogosphere with the headline that Obama’s publicist in 1991 had a blurb up on Obama being born in Kenya and then raised in Indonesia and Hawaii. The publicist claimed it was a ‘fact checking error,’ but evidently, it’s an error that happened again and again and again. In fact, according to WND, that blurb was still up in 2007. Between Arpaio contesting the birth certificate and this, the birther movement is gaining more and more credibility.

While I believe that the ‘birth certificate’ issue is legitimate, I believe it is being used as a political weapon of distraction to deter Americans from keeping their eye on what is really going on economically, militarily and Constitutionally. All we know definitively is that Obama is a liar – about everything. I would ask him if he was lying then or if he’s lying now, but I suspect it is both. Being from Africa gives Obama street cred, just like being a radical and a Progressive does.

When it comes to conspiracies, I’m an Occam’s Razor man. The more obvious explanation of the variable first line in the eternally shifting sands of Obama’s biography is that, rather than pretending to have been born in Hawaii, he’s spent much of his life pretending to have been born in Kenya.

After all, if your first book is an exploration of racial identity and has the working title “Journeys In Black And White,” being born in Hawaii doesn’t really help. It’s entirely irrelevant to the twin pillars of contemporary black grievance – American slavery and European imperialism. To 99.99 percent of people, Hawaii is a luxury vacation destination and nothing else.

Whereas Kenya puts you at the heart of what, in an otherwise notably orderly decolonization process by the British, was a bitter and violent struggle against the white man’s rule. Cool! The composite chicks dig it, and the literary agents.

And where’s the harm in it? Everybody does it – at least in the circles in which Obama hangs. At Harvard Law School, where young Barack was “the first African-American president of The Harvard Law Review,” there’s no end of famous firsts: As The Fordham Law Review reported, “Harvard Law School hired its first woman of color, Elizabeth Warren, in 1995.” There is no evidence that Mrs. Warren, now the Democrats’ Senate candidate, is anything other than 100 percent white. She walks like a white, quacks like a white, looks whiter than white. She’s the whitest white since Frosty the Snowman fell in a vat of Wite-Out. But she “self-identified” as Cherokee, so that makes her a “woman of color.” Why, back in 1984 she submitted some of her favorite dishes to the “Pow Wow Chow” cookbook, a “compilation of recipes passed down through the Five Tribes families.”

Even Obama’s name was crafted:

“I suppose he’d had the name ready for a long time, even then,” says Nick Carraway in “The Great Gatsby.” “His parents were shiftless and unsuccessful farm people – his imagination had never really accepted them as his parents at all. The truth was that Jay Gatsby of West Egg, Long Island, sprang from his Platonic conception of himself… . So he invented just the sort of Jay Gatsby that a seventeen-year-old boy would be likely to invent, and to this conception he was faithful to the end.”

In a post-modern America, the things that Gatsby attempted to fake – an elite schooling – Obama actually had; the things that Gatsby attempted to obscure – the impoverished roots – merely add to Obama’s luster. Gatsby claimed to have gone to Oxford, but nobody knew him there because he never went; Obama had a million bucks’ worth of elite education at Occidental, Columbia and Harvard Law, and still nobody knew him (“Fox News contacted some 400 of his classmates and found no one who remembered him”). In that sense, Obama out-Gatsbys Gatsby: His “shiftless and unsuccessful” relatives – the deportation-dodging aunt on public housing in Boston, the DWI undocumented uncle, the $12-a-year brother back in Nairobi – are useful props in his story, the ever more vivid bit-players as the central character swims ever more out of focus, but they don’t seem to know him either. The more autobiographies he writes, the less anybody knows.

Like Gatsby presiding over his wild, lavish parties, Obama is aloof and remote: let everyone else rave deliriously; he just has to be. He is, in his way, the apotheosis of the Age of American Incredibility. When just being who you are anyway is an incredible accomplishment, Obama managed to run and win on biography almost entirely unmoored from life. But then, like Gatsby, he knew a thing or two about “the unreality of reality.”

And America fell for it, hook, line and ‘sinker.’ We put a Communist in the White House and painted DC red.

I also have severe doubts about Obama’s claim to be a Christian. The Jeremiah Wright tapes bring that to the forefront as well. Wright said that he “made it comfortable” for Obama to accept Christianity “without having to renounce his Islamic background.” Why should we doubt that? Read that again – the meaning there is as plain as day.

Then you have Obama’s militant wife. Both the Obamas, in my opinion, are hardcore racists. They support race wars; they support Islam and they hate America and her ideals. How’s that for blunt?

Obama’s college records have never been released and in fact, we know very little about his time in college. There could certainly be a smoking gun in all that. But, the “watchdog” Fourth Estate has hushed it up like everything else about Obama.

More and ongoing media failures such as:

  • His Communist mentor, Frank Marshall Davis.
  • His real relationship with Bill Ayers and Ayers’ father.
  • His real relationship with George Soros.
  • His military intentions.
  • His ties with the unions.
  • The facts on his family and his girlfriends. Especially family in Africa.
  • His connections with Democratic Socialists of America and other radical Communist groups.
  • Who his benefactors are – i.e. who paid for his education? Who donated to his campaigns?
  • Why he disses (actually hates) Israel and puts all Islamic countries first in his actions.
  • How much has been spent (in detail) on trips and vacations.
  • What do his finances really entail?
  • Who really wrote his books?
  • His ties with Russia and China.

I want to know all that and more. I want to know who ‘selected’ him as Farrakhan put it in the Wright tapes. What groups and individuals are running this show? Why aren’t his actions considered treasonous and at the very least merit a congressional investigation into his background and his actions? How is it that a man who could never begin to pass a background check has become the most powerful man in the world? I don’t want verbal effigies, I want him vetted completely and then held accountable along with all in his sphere of influence, especially his Cabinet and his czars. Include the Democrat Party while you are at it, with special emphasis on the Congressional Progressive Congress.

Reverend Wright’s revelations could bring Obama down. Obama’s chickens may indeed be coming home to roost.

Considering his violations of the Constitution and the invocation of Executive Orders, there is a monumental case for impeachment here. Chicago corruption has been brought into our White House. The fiction of Barack Obama will go down in infamy as the ultimate enemy within.

(Fox News) — The Obama White House is drawing ridicule for appending the official online biographies of nearly every president over the last century in order to link President Obama’s accomplishments to the former commanders in chief.

The Obama team went into the pages of U.S. presidents dating back to Calvin Coolidge to add friendly looking “Did you know?” fact boxes to the end of their bios. Those additions were used to plug a host of Obama administration initiatives, ranging from the health care overhaul to the so-called “Buffett Rule” to his green-energy policies.

For instance, the following line was added to the official bio of the late President Ronald Reagan: “In a June 28, 1985, speech, Reagan called for a fairer tax code, one where a multimillionaire did not have a lower tax rate than his secretary. Today, President Obama is calling for the same with the Buffett Rule.”

The White House is coming under heavy criticism from conservatives for the changes, and not just to Reagan’s page.

Late Tuesday, the White House defended itself, claiming the staff was merely adding links to other pages.

“No biographies have been altered,” a White House official told Fox News. “We simply added links at the bottom of each page to related whitehouse.gov content, which is a commonly used best practice to encourage people to browse more pages on a site.”

The additions do include links, but they’re more than that. Each one finds a way to tout an Obama administration policy or practice in the process.

There’s this at the bottom of the Franklin D. Roosevelt biography, for instance:

“On August 14, 1935, President Roosevelt signed the Social Security Act. Today the Obama administration continues to protect seniors and ensure Social Security will be there for future generations.”

And this, at the end of President Lyndon Johnson’s, drawing a link between his signing of Medicare and Obama’s signing of the health care overhaul:

“President Lyndon Johnson signed Medicare into law in 1965 — providing millions of elderly health care stability. President Obama’s historic health care reform law, the Affordable Care Act, strengthens Medicare, offers eligible seniors a range of preventive services with no cost-sharing, and provides discounts on drugs when in the coverage gap known as the ‘donut hole.’”

The changes also link Harry Truman’s call for civil rights to the Obama administration’s push to repeal “don’t ask, don’t tell.” And they link Jimmy Carter’s creation of the Department of Energy to Obama’s push for an “all of the above” energy approach today.

The Obama accomplishments cited range from the significant to the mundane.

In stark contrast to prior Obama administration statements, Illinois Democratic Rep. Luis Gutierrez told The Daily Caller that he and the National Council of La Raza were deeply involved in the crafting and implementation of a controversial Obama administration memo that many conservatives believe amounts to a policy of amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants.

President Obama, Gutierrez said, told him in December 2010 that comprehensive immigration reform could not be achieved legislatively because of fears Democrats would lose future elections. Instead, he said, the president suggested exploring administrative options to accomplish their mutual goals. [...]

Gutierrez, speaking exclusively with The Daily Caller following that event, said Obama’s declaration motivated him to draft a plan of action for the White House.

“I begin to write a ‘prosecutorial discretion’ memorandum,” Gutierrez said. “We take that prosecutorial discretion memorandum and take it to the White House. We meet with Bill Daley. Then we take it to the president.”

No, anti-immigration activists don’t trust Mitt Romney

I really wouldn’t make any difference, because nobody’s listening to me anyhow,” says Dan Beck, a cop and former sheriff from Ohio’s Allen County, who still wears a sheriff’s pin on his jacket lapel.Beck was among the activists, policy wonks, and Republican legislators who are lending their voices this week to conservative radio hosts who’ve gathered in Washington to focus on illegal immigration. Organized by the Federation for American Immigration Reform — a leading advocacy group in the fight against illegal immigration — the confab made it clear that the presidency isn’t the movement’s primary battleground.

Many say they’re not entirely sure what Romney’s positions on immigration really are. And even they were, they wouldn’t believe the promises that he’s making anyway.

“At this point, we’re still trying to figure out — he’s still deciding his immigration position. I’d like him to be a little bit stronger on it,” says Rusty Humphries, a radio host from Atlanta, after he wrapped up a broadcast of his eponymous, nationally syndicated show. When I pressed him to elaborate, he stopped me. “Can I be honest? I’ve been in this room all day long, and this”— he gestures to a flyer — ”is the only thing I’ve seen, that’s been handed to me. So I honestly don’t have any idea what he’s said at this point.”

The flyer passed around the event highlighted a gaffe this week from Romney’s Hispanic outreach director, Bettina Inclan, who told reporters that the former Massachusetts governor was still deciding his stance on immigration. In fact, Romney has an entire section on his campaign Web site devoted to immigration: he wants to establish a verification system akin to e-Verify to screen employees on their immigration status, for instance, and “absolutely opposes any policy that would allow illegal immigrants to ‘cut in line.’” During the GOP primary, Romney routinely attacked Gingrich and other opponents for holding more moderate views.

But anti-immigration activists aren’t feeling too heartened: Inclan’s gaffe has made some even more wary about where Romney really stood, giving them even fewer reasons to believe that he’d stay faithful to his campaign promises. “I could not for a moment assure you that he would be a strong opponent of illegal immigration, or a strong supporter of illegal immigration. I don’t know. And I’m not sure he does,” former GOP Congressman and anti-immigration firebrand Tom Tancredo said outside the confab, shortly before a fan rushed up to get his autograph. (“Keep the faith!” he wrote in a copy of his book, “In Mortal Danger.”)

“[Romney’s] waffled so much. He claims to be a conservative, and he’s trying to convince people he’s truly conservative. Let me know the truth — I’ve been a cop for 30 years,” says Beck.

Instead, anti-immigration activists turning their sights to matters closer home: state laws to keep illegal immigrants away from the polls, bills to replicate Arizona’s police checks on immigration status, and initiatives by local law enforcement to carry out their own crackdowns. Beck, for one, wants more sheriffs to follow the model of Arizona’s Joe Arpaio — “my hero,” he says — and expand their efforts to identify and detain illegal immigrants, putting pressure on Washington from the ground up. Sheriffs “need to get out of their offices and band together as a group,” he says. “Then the group needs to come to Washington D.C. and start pounding on these legislators’ doors.”

They’ve also converged over voter ID laws, which have become a new battleground for conservative activists who want to crack down on voter fraud — and say that illegal immigrants are among the most common perpetrators. The Obama game plan, Tancredo claims, is “to identify those places, those cities and those states where you have high numbers of immigrants, welfare recipients, and that sort of thing, who can be energized to get to the polls — even if they’re not legally able to do so.” Tancredo, in response, is preparing to launch a project in Colorado focusing on the issue. “We’re going to be out in force in battleground states,” promises Tancredo. (As for Romney, he says, “I’ll take him.”)

The voter ID issue previously united the tea party and the anti-immigration movement in 2010, which came together to dispatch poll-watchers across various states and localities. Democrats cast that effort as voter intimidation and suppression, pointing out that there was little evidence of voter fraud in 2010, despite the right’s hullabaloo. But such grassroots focus on electoral nuts-and-bolts could end up helping the GOP ticket in 2012, Romney included: watching polling stations presumably also means voting at them.

Insurgent conservative candidates like Richard Mourdock, who just topped Richard Lugar in the Indiana Senate primary, could also inspire more enthusiasm from disillusioned conservatives. Anti-immigration activists hated Lugar’s support for the DREAM Act, which he originally co-sponsored. If Romney’s elected, Congress “is our only fallback position,” says Tancredo. If it’s Obama, “it’s the only thing we have.”

But like their counterparts on the left, the anti-immigration know that state and local efforts ultimately aren’t enough to overhaul the immigration system to their liking. If the Supreme Court strikes downArizona SB 1070, for instance, Tancredo admits that it will be “back to the drawing board.”

Friday night news dump: Obama bypasses Congress, funds Palestinian Authority

Isn’t it funny what you can find out on Friday evening about what our executive branch does?  For instance, Agence France-Presse reported last night that Barack Obama bypassed Congress to send $192 million to the Palestinian Authority, claiming that national security required the US to put money into Mahmoud Abbas’ pocket:

President Barack Obama has signed a waiver to remove curbs on funding to the Palestinian Authority, declaring the aid to be “important to the security interests of the United States.”

A $192 million aid package was frozen by the US Congress after the Palestinians moved to gain statehood at the United Nations last September.

But in a memo sent to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, published by the White House, the president said it was appropriate to release funds to the authority, which administers the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

In signing the waiver, Obama instructed Clinton to inform Congress of the move, on the grounds that “waiving such prohibition is important to the national security interests of the United States.”

Congress deliberately froze those funds, and not just because of the statehood demand through UNESCO.  Hamas, a terrorist organization, reconciled with Fatah and has rejoined the PA, which means we’re putting almost $200 million into the hands of a terrorist organization.  The language of the Palestinian Accountability Act could not be clearer: “[N]o funds available to any United States Government department or agency … may be obligated or expended with respect to providing funds to the Palestinian Authority.”  Obama literally waived that statutory language off yesterday afternoon. The Times of Israel reported on the official White House explanation of why Obama did so:

The AFP news agency quoted White House spokesman Tommy Vietor as saying the $192 million aid package would be devoted to “ensuring the continued viability of the moderate PA government under the leadership of [Palestinian Authority] President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Salam Fayyad.” Vietor added that the PA had fulfilled its major obligations, such as recognizing Israel’s right to exist, renouncing violence and accepting the Road Map for Peace.

Have they?  They certainly haven’t done so since Hamas rejoined the PA in February.  Hamas has refused to change its charter to recognize Israel or renounce violence, and certainly they have rejected the Road Map for Peace, which has been lying dead for years thanks to the PA’s refusal to seriously implement it.  When Hamas broadcasts its recognition of Israel in Arabic — something that the PA has never done, to my knowledge — then perhaps the Obama administration’s claims can be taken seriously. Andy McCarthy calls this a “triple play,” and slams this claim by Vietor as fantasy:

In the real world, the very immoderate PA has reneged on all its commitments. In addition to violating its obligations by unilaterally declaring statehood, the PA has also agreed to form a unity government with Hamas, a terrorist organization that is the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood. The PA continues to endorse terrorism against Israel as “resistance.” Moreover, the PA most certainly does not recognize Israel’s right to exist. Back in November, for example, Adil Sadeq, a PA official writing in the official PA daily,Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, declared that Israelis “have a common mistake, or misconception by which they fool themselves, assuming that Fatah accepts them and recognizes the right of their state to exist, and that it is Hamas alone that loathes them and does not recognize the right of this state to exist. They ignore the fact that this state, based on a fabricated [Zionist] enterprise, never had any shred of a right to exist…” In sum, everything Obama is saying about Palestinian compliance is a lie. Even if we were not broke, we should not be giving the PA a dime. To borrow money so we can give it to them is truly nuts.

The White House knows it, too — which is why we only found out through the Friday night news dump.

Obama’s Yard Sale: Selling Out America

From the very beginning of Obama-Soetoro’s illegal occupancy of the once-revered and respected office of President of the United States of America, he and his unindicted co-conspirators have been feverishly working to “fundamentally change” America. As expected by those who paid attention and actually read Mein Kamph…er…Dreams From My Father and the facts known about Obama-Soetoro’s philosophical background, the changes have all been aimed at turning America into a Soviet-style dictatorship. And as we get closer to the 2012 elections, the pace of selling out America is increasing significantly.

“Mr. Obama told the French (the French!) that America ‘has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive’ toward Europe.

In Prague, he said America has ‘a moral responsibility to act’ on arms control because only the U.S. had ‘used a nuclear weapon.’

In London, he said that decisions about the world financial system were no longer made by ‘just Roosevelt and Churchill sitting in a room with a brandy’—as if that were a bad thing.

And in Latin America, he said the U.S. had not ‘pursued and sustained engagement with our neighbors’ because we ‘failed to see that our own progress is tied directly to progress throughout the Americas.’” (Wall Street Journal) Americans, I sincerely hope, will remember Obama-Soetoro’s disgraceful performances on what became known as his Apologize for America Tour. Who can forget the picture of his scrawny backside, as he bowed before the King of Saudi Arabia? Or his groveling before Muslims in Egypt, claiming that America is not a Christian nation? Karl Rove summed much of it up nicely in a Wall Street Journal article:

He had Hilary Clinton apologize to the Russians, with her “reset” button nonsense, a high school gesture that she managed to botch. However, Obama-Soetoro, die-hard (though knee-jerk) Marxist that he is, has never given up pandering to Vladimir Putin, whom many suspect is still the hard-line Communist he was when he was a Lt. Colonel in the KGB, the Soviet secret police. The scrapping of the plan to install missile defenses in Poland and the Czech Republic was clearly a kowtowing move, aimed at impressing Moscow. This was followed by the START treaty, which many experts say was a big step in Obama-Soetoro’s unilateral denuclearization scheme that gave Russia a significant advantage over the U.S., especially in tactical nuclear weapons.

And as the traitorous cherry on top of the sell-out sundae, like a teen-age boy trying to act like a big shot, B. Hussein recently let slip to the Russians that after “my next election,” he will have more “flexibility” regarding America’s unilateral disarmament.

Also recently, Barry the Red has secretly arranged to give seven Alaskan islands, one the size of Rhode Island and Delaware combined, and rights to billions of barrels of oil, to his Russian comrades. The U.S., over the objections of the State of Alaska, drew the line giving Russia the islands as part of a supposed maritime boundary agreement. This goes nicely with Obama-Soetoro’s and Leon Panetta’s support for the UN’s Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) and the United Nations Convention on Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), both of which cede control of the oceans, including America’s territorial waters, to the UN. Rhetorical question: Do you think the UN will allow us to drill for any oil or gas in these waters?

While the current Marxist administration in Washington is not responsible for coming up with the idea, it has been moving right along on the furtherance of a North American Union, too. Surrender Secretary, Leon Panetta, was just up in Canada to discuss over-border military co-operation with Mexico and Canada. And the Fraud in the White House, himself, just met with the leaders of Mexico and Canada at the White House.

This one, however, didn’t go so well for The Smartest Man in the Room. Seems the Mexicans are not pleased with Obama-Soetoro’s and Eric holder’s gun-running scheme – Fast and Furious – that led to the smuggling by violent drug cartels of thousands of guns into Mexico, nor are the Canadians pleased or impressed by Obama-Soetoro’s killing of the Keystone Pipeline.

It goes without saying that the Ministry of Propaganda, aka the “mainstream” media, has done its best to cover up or spin all this. For instance, how many know that back in February, several U.S. “professors” from universities in New York attended a conference in Tehran, Iran, to discuss, of all things, the Occupy Wall Street Movement? Seems this “movement,” which Obama-Soetoro, the Democrat Party, and Academia support, is of great interest to the Muslims who see America as the Enemy, the Great Satan (Weekly Standard).

Space limits this to a partial list, but there is a clear, undeniable pattern here, of selling out America and We, the People, to our enemies. Please, keep this in mind when you vote in November.

VAST LEFT WING CONSPIRACY: DOJ REFERS REPORTER TO MEDIA MATTERS, SOURCE CLAIMS

Katie Dixon, a ‘confidential assistant’ in the Office of Public Affairs at the Department of Justice, reportedly sent an email to Washington Free Beacon writer C.J. Ciaramella that she had been directed to send him a link to Media Matters for America, which holds weekly “strategy calls” with the White House, in response to an inquiry  regarding the Operation Fast and Furious scandal. In a tweet Friday evening, @CJCiaramella said:

Requested comment from DOJ re: @KatiePavlich‘s #fastandfurious book. DOJ sent me a link to a Media Matters article

He then linked to what appears to be an email from Friday, April 20th at 5:15pm from Dixon.

The screenshot of that email shows Dixon saying:

Per your request for information on a Fast and Furious book, I was told to direct your questions to the FBI and also to provide you with a link to this story:

The message then linked to a story titled Fast And Fallacious: Pavlich’s Book On ATF Operation Filled With Falsehoods. At the time of this writing, Dixon has not responded to Breitbart News to confirm that she sent the email shown in the tweet.

Pavlich’s book, which is currently a top seller on Amazon.com, is described as telling readers “in chilling detail, just what this operation conducted by the ATF, under the supervision of the Justice Department, entailed” and saying that “equally appalling is the blatant cover-up of wrongdoing by the Obama administration.”

For more than a year now, Americans have been stonewalled, ignored and disrespected in our quests for information about the Obama administration’s lethal Operation Fast and Furious. The fact that the Obama Justice Department, headed by Attorney General Eric Holder, is now sending reporters to the far left, George Soros funded, Media Matters for factual information about one of the bloodiest scandals in U.S. history, is no surprise and totally predictable. This is just an extension of the Obama administration’s shameless coverup and refusal to tell the truth about Fast and Furious.

The Justice Department has blood on its hands, there are at least 300 Mexican citizens dead and two of our federal agents have been murdered as a result of this program. The Obama administration as a whole refuses to take responsibility and provide transparency for an American public outraged by this scandal. The Justice Department is responsible for upholding the law in a fair, unbiased and non-political manner, but the current politically appointed DOJ leadership has chosen to engage in promoting a far Left and controversial agenda. Media Matters’ Anti-Christian Agenda Exposed

WASHINGTON — An influential organization with ties to the White House came under fire recently for attacking Christian news outlets.

Now, CBN News has obtained a document showing that the very foundation of the group known as Media Matters for America is built on anti-Christian bias.

Faith Groups in Crosshairs

Media Matters is a non-profit liberal watchdog group that has the ear of not only the mainstream media, but also the Obama administration.

As part of its strategy, Media Matters frequently targets Christian organizations in an effort to counter what it views as pro-Christian “bias in news reporting and analysis by the American media.”

“It is common for news and commentary by the press to present viewpoints that tend to overly promote…a conservative, Christian-influenced ideology,” the group said in its application for non-profit status with the IRS.

Vince Coglianese, a reporter with The Dailer Caller, has investigated the Media Matters’ attacks on Christian organizations.

“Media Matters, in its application to the IRS–outright, in the very first paragraph–declares it’s going to be an anti-Christian organization,” he said.

“Interestingly, though, in their public mission statement Media Matters makes no mention of the fact that it intends to target the Christian ideology,” Coglianese noted.

Media Matters did not respond to CBN News’ requests for comment on this story or the document.

David Brog, executive director of Christians United for Israel, believes the Media Matters’ targeting of Christians is connected to its anti-Israel views.

“They want to take on what they see as a Christian-influenced media and Christian-influenced policy, and no better place to start than with the issue of Israel and with attacking U.S. support of Israel,” Brog told CBN News.

‘Israel Firsters’

Until recently, the man at the center of Media Matters’ anti-Israel campaigns was M.J. Rosenberg.

Rosenberg served as the group’s senior foreign policy fellow before stepping aside amid controversy over his anti-Israel writings, including heated criticism from well-known Democrats like attorney Alan Dershowitz.

Rosenberg routinely uses the label, “Israel Firsters,” implying that American supporters put the interests of Israel above the United States. It’s a charge commonly made by Neo-Nazis and anti-Semitic groups.

“We don’t see any condemnation of his hate language coming from Media Matters, and we’ve yet to notice any shift in editorial policies,” Brog said. “For all we know, they’ve said goodbye to the man but not the message.”

“I call upon all my friends on the left who love Israel, who hate anti-Semitism, to speak up,” he admonished. “Your silence is deafening. You’re letting your compatriots get away with the vilest of accusations.”

Meanwhile, Media Matters’ new Middle East expert, Walid Zafar, appears to be following in Rosenberg’s footsteps.

He recently blasted DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz for pulling out of a fundraiser hosted by an American Muslim whose name is on the federal terrorist watch list.

Power Grab for Natural Gas – New Executive Order

It was Friday the 13. If you are superstitious, then the new Executive Order issued yesterday,  “Supporting Safe and Responsible Development of Unconventional Domestic Natural Gas Resources” must give you pause.

Because natural gas produced 25 percent of our energy in 2011, the federal government must control this source of energy in order to deliver on the promise of making gasoline prices rise to $10 per gallon, bankrupt the coal industry, and cause energy prices to skyrocket.The order states, “While natural gas production is carried out by private firms, and States are the primary regulators of onshore oil and gas activities, the Federal Government has an important role to play by regulating oil and gas activities on public and Indian trust lands, encouraging greater use of natural gas in transportation, supporting research and development aimed at improving the safety of natural gas development and transportation activities, and setting sensible, cost-effective public health and environmental standards to implement Federal law and augment State safeguards.”

The Department of DefenseAn interagency working group is tasked to “facilitate coordinated Administration policy efforts to support safe and responsible unconventional domestic natural gas development.” This working group bureaucracy will be chaired by the Director of the Domestic Policy Council and has several curious members that have no direct involvement with natural gas production:

  • the Department of the Interior
  • the Department of Agriculture
  • the Department of Commerce
  • the Department of Health and Human Services
  • the Department of Transportation
  • the Department of Energy
  • the Department of Homeland Security
  • the Environmental Protection Agency
  • the Council on Environmental Quality
  • the Office of Science and Technology Policy
  • the Office of Management and Budget
  • the National Economic Council

The Chair may invite other agencies or offices to participate in the working group.  The working group will “support [read control] the safe and responsible production of domestic unconventional natural gas by performing the following functions: coordinate agency policy activities, share scientific, environmental, technical and economic information, coordination with federal government in long-term planning, and “consult with other agencies as appropriate.”

The White House Blog explains this new bureaucracy as a step in eliminating “redundancy.” What is there redundant about each state controlling and exploring their natural gas? The federal government is concerned, since natural gas volumetric exploration in 2011 was so large, it eclipsed the all-time high production record of 1973, it must “ensure that we can successfully tap this critical resource for decades to come, we must develop it safely and responsibly.” Translation, we must control it and reduce its production so that our air and water are safe according to the EPA dictates. This is interesting because natural gas is one of the cleanest sources of energy.

The White House Blog continues, “At the same time, as the administration develops a framework for safe and responsible production that builds on steps already taken by states across the country, we must ensure that those efforts continue to happen in a coordinated way.”

There we have it; we cannot let states continue business as usual. We must interfere and impose federal power and control over the states. We cannot let cheap natural gas interfere with our plan for expensive alternative sources of energy. Fossil fuels and fracking are tampering with our power grab plans.
