Update: Oil Rich Alaskan Island Giveaway Update Part II

Did Obama give away Alaskan Islands to the Russians for nothing in return? If so, why? Why would the United States give away Islands that are rich in oil and have vast waters with significant fish population that has yielded metric tons of fish for the Alaskan fishing industry? It appeared that this multi island giveaway started with president George H.W. Bush.

On June 1, 1990, Secretary of State James Baker signed a secret executive agreement with Eduard Shevardnadze, the former U.S.S.R. foreign minister. It specified that even though the treaty had not been ratified, the U.S. and the U.S.S.R. agreed to abide by the terms of the treaty beginning June 15, 1990. The Senate ratified the U.S.-U.S.S.R. Maritime Boundary Treaty in 1991, which was then signed by President George Bush.

The Alaskan government and it’s citizens were never consulted on the treaty!

However, these declassified telegrams suggest that this treaty was Initiated by Sec. of State, Henry Kissinger in 1977 during the Ford Administration.

State Department Watch had argued that free political speech has been imperiled by Alaska’s Attorney General who has issued a cease and desist order against publicity of the giveaway of 8 Alaskan islands and vast oil-rich seabeds.  The nonpartisan foreign policy watchdog group State Department Watch has conducted the educational campaign for years with recognition by the Alaska Legislature and many nationwide groups. State Department Watch complied with the A.G. office and you can view the communications that transpired between the two below.

I say that our entire federal government is populated with traitors, with few exceptions, and they should be busy making grand juries.
America is now a police State and the laughing stock of planet earth. The department of education should be destroyed from the top down, and the media industry broken up. Half, or better, of our citizens are educated idiots, desiring financial support from the nanny government that is killing them. TANCREDO, RAISE YOUR VOICE TO A CONTINUOUS HOWL.

OldDog…right you are. But if the treaty re the Alaskan island was one of Kissinger’s legacies, let’s not rave about “Americans”, even though our countries does have an educational system that’s a union make-work project, nonfunctioning news organizations, and the rest mentioned in your rant.
Is Kissinger a citizen here? Is he subject to charges of treason?

The 1977 cables refered to on the “State Department Watch” website show that the U.S. was observing a division agreed to under the 1867 Treaty in which the U.S. bought Alaska from Russia. The site’s own evidence contradicts its claim that the islands were given away The U.S. never claimed those islands. Both the 1967 Treaty and the 1990 Treaty signed by Pres. G HW Bush were ratified by the U.S. Senate — there’s no conspiracy, no secrecy.

Got something to say? Go for it!
